We decided to stop here to celebrate our anniversary based off reviews. Overall, our experience was good! The main dishes were generous, fresh, and tasty. Things to note for my foodie friends out there–The pasta sauces that they use are more soupy and not gravy in consistency, which I didn’t mind because it felt light and refreshing. The only thing we didn’t love were the bread and salad. The bread was VERY plain and not a good Italian crusty bread. The house salad was gross. It was some sort of mayo dressing, which is surprising for Italian food. If these two small things get changed, I’d say that I’d love this place more. Great atmosphere and very friendly service. We sat outside and had a beautiful night.

WOW! La Casetta really is the BEST meal I’ve had down the shoreline! A cute homey & high quality feel the second you walk in. Everyone is so friendly & our waitress Betsy was phenomenal! Now— onto the food— absolutely incredible! I’ve been looking for a seafood pasta dish that has subtle seafood, creamy sauce, and refreshing for a summer meal and my Scallop alla Gorgonzola (pictured) was PERFECT! The homemade pasta, fresh sea scallops and delicious creamy sauce was EVERYTHING & MORE!!! Large portions, attentive staff, salad (1st course) with house dressing are all 10/10! Pics include Crème Brûlée, Chicken Parm with blush sauce, and La Casetta Chicken. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a date night, family outing, or special dining occasion! BYOB, reservation highly recommended, and just entrees (w salad) came out to around $30 per. I will absolutely be going back (soon) and telling everyone I know! Thanks La Casetta!

Outstanding BYOB! The staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgable. Started with the Parmesan Crusted Spinach & Artichoke Dip. Delish. We enjoyed the Shrimp & Scallops Vessubio & La Casetta Chicken entrees. Perfect serving size, fresh ingredients, & homemade pasta. Highly recommend- reservations a must.

Outstanding Food and Service! Our service from Alexa and Kaitlyn was very attentive on a very busy and packed night. Friendly, Funny and Full of life is the vibe you get from entering to leaving! Huge menu of various pastas, fishes and meats and don’t forget a shareable appetizer! Generous portions not not over filling. Blackened Salmon over Fresh Homemade Fettuccini was my favorite but the Veal Parm more than satisfied my 80 year old Italian father who has a right to judge this classic dish after all his years in a family that treasures the combo of family and food! This place is a hidden gem don’t forget reservations but take out works if you can’t get a seat As a top ranked Google Reviewer…I highly recommend this spot for food family and the pure Joy of experiencing a business that takes itself seriously!

Specials were fantastic. Crab and Lobster Ravioli, Mediterranean Sea Bass with Crab Imperial, Gnocchi and Veal Ripieno Specials were fantastic as was the Risotto Marco Polo. Desserts were also worth the calories. Some of the best homemade pasta we’ve ever had. An absolute new favorite go-to.

Just enjoyed a fantastic meal with some friends. This is a must go to out of the island restaurant. Homemade pasta too. Top notch little place that you would literally drive by it. Ellen was our server and she did a great job taken care of us and going along with my humor.

Charming, but not decorated for Halloween and very small. Food would have been better if the chef didn’t add so much salt. The mussels were average – definitely love Secondo in Cape May mussels and Venturas – literally, no comparison. You have to pay extra for more bread. A word of advice, just up the price of food an extra dollar because your bread is average and nothing spectacular. The portions were large, but quantity does not equal quality.

Can tell it’s truly homemade. I’m picky about my meatballs, and they were delicious. The lobster ravioli was sooo good. My husband loved his tortellini with chicken. Will for sure be back.
