Food here is really good. The spicy curry actually has a nice kick already, so you don’t need to pay extra to make it hotter. The unagi bowl was tasty too, good flavor and super satisfying.

What surprised me was how empty it felt. The place seems more set up for takeout than dining in. Everything comes in disposable containers with plastic utensils, and ordering is all digital. You order on the screen, get a text when it’s ready, then grab it at the counter. You’ll probably only see the staff for like ten seconds, then they disappear back into the kitchen. Looks like there are only one or two people working, which explains the system.

Service isn’t really interactive, but it doesn’t feel unfriendly, just very hands-off and efficient. Honestly it feels more like a grab-and-go spot than a sit-down restaurant.

Still, it’s nice to have a Japanese curry place nearby, especially one that actually does flavor right. Only thing I’d suggest is turning on the AC since it’s starting to get warm. Would definitely come back for the curry.

The curry from this place is wonderful. They have one of the best omurice and curry I’ve had in LA. I had fish katsu curry, which also comes with side dishes. The drink is delicious, although it’s premixed so you can’t adjust the sweet level. The server looked quite unhappy and took a long time to come to the front of the restaurant after ringing the bell though.

it seems like nothing here is made fresh. the curry was obviously microwaved – although the edges were piping hot, the center was ice cold. the mashed potatoes that came in the side were ice cold as well. karaage had no flavor other than mayo and seaweed.

would not recommend curry flurry as the food is all pre-prepped and just microwaved. also the images in the menu are ai.

Refreshing, creamy, and not too sweet—perfect after curry.

Bright, citrusy, and super refreshing.

Curry Flurry, a Japanese Curry and Street Food Restaurant situated on W Duarte Rd in Arcadia, boasts an elegantly decorated interior with the capacity to accommodate up to 17 patrons. Prior to dining, I utilized their mobile application to place an order. Initially, my intention was to order a single curry omurice, but the enticing menu compelled me to indulge in appetizers and beverages as well. My order included Chicken Katsu Curry Omurice, Chicken Karaage, Potato Salad, Fried Milk, Mango Pomelo Sago, and Coke.

The staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness, extending a warm welcome upon my arrival. Their service was both efficient and prompt, ensuring that my food arrived within 10 minutes of my seating. The Chicken Katsu Curry Omurice was particularly noteworthy, characterized by its well-done texture and delectable flavor, making it one of the most exceptional omurice I have encountered to date. Additionally, I found the Chicken Karaage, Potato Salad, and Fried Milk to be equally enjoyable. However, the Mango Pomelo Sago fell short of expectations when compared to the other dishes ordered and, therefore, I would not recommend it.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed both the cuisine and the exceptional hospitality provided. My experience at Curry Flurry was truly remarkable, positioning it as an exceptional destination for those seeking Japanese curry and street food. I anticipate returning in the near future to explore further of their delectable offerings.

The omelet curry rice and beef patty rice are both very delicious – authentic Japanese style with delicate flavor. There are many curry places in the area, but this one is the best! The staff are super friendly, the dining area is clean and well organized.

The food here does not disappoint. Every time I’ve tried something new, I’ve been impressed! My favorite thing to order is the chicken Katsu curry omurice. The chicken Katsu is always super super crispy which is amazing. I also love the Wagyu patty curry omurice. The Wagyu patty is made in house, and you can tell that it’s specially made. It tastes amazing with the sauce provided. I tried the chicken teriyaki skewers as well and it was delicious. Super juicy and tastes straight off the grill! So yummy. Don’t expect much in-person service, but expect good food.

Just opened, it’s real! It’s a Japanese curry/wagyu patty place. Curry is pretty standard (“spicy” is also pretty mild), and the patty is quite flavorful. Don’t worry about parking, it’s in a plaza.

This is such a charming spot! It’s small, so be prepared for limited seating, but it has a lovely vibe. I do wish the ordering process was smoother—having to download an app and use a code felt like an unnecessary step. That said, the kitchen really knows what they’re doing. The packaging is really thoughtful and cute, and the food is delicious. The curry flavor was rich and totally hit the spot. The Omurice is almost too cute to eat, too! I just felt the portion of chicken katsu was a little on the small side. Will definitely be back for more curry!

Delicious flavorful curry, omurice reminds me of Japan..the chicken skewers were extremely tender and the matcha yuzu was delish! You can tell they put pride in putting the dishes together. Will definitely be back.
