Firstly… the staff was all so kind despite our birthday party being relatively annoying Our server in particular was so kind and patient- she deserves an award.
Cody himself was walking around throughout the night chatting and greeting customers, running drinks, etc. He was very friendly and down to earth.
Would love to go back and have another Strawberry Letter. Plus I’m already looking forward to ordering my second choice entree- the risotto. I had a bite of my friends’ and it was delicious. I went with the Beef Wellington due to some light pressure from a local but was not disappointed at all.

Delicious food, creative drinks, and great atmosphere!
We started with the Caesar salad and burrata—both fresh and flavorful. The shared pork chop was perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. The Old Fashioned and Spicy Paloma were excellent, and the carrot soup (which we sampled) was absolutely delicious — we’ll definitely be back just for that! Great service and an inviting atmosphere made for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend!

Codie’s Restaurant is truly one of the best in New Braunfels! The food is incredible — their Beef Wellington is out of this world, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The espresso martini is a must-try too — they brew their cold brew in-house, and it’s absolutely delicious. On top of that, the owner Codie is such a great person — always welcoming, friendly, and makes you feel right at home every time you visit. Amazing food, amazing drinks, and even better people!

Trying to find the perfect word to describe my experience here at Cody’s NB and WOW is it from the atmosphere, the service and taste of food everything was amazing! I truly loved the atmosphere was quiet romantic dim lighting perfect for date night☺️ the service was completed with speed accuracy and most importantly with the friendliest of attitudes. The Food wow the food I have to admit I’m a picky eater but even as picky as I am I found this food to be so delicious! We ate two appetizers my favorite was the tuna and. Caesar salad then an entree I had the beef welly it was to die for I was full half way through our meal
But it was so good I ate til I couldn’t breathe lol but sooo worth it! My husband had fish if In completely honest I don’t remember the name but he loved it I just personally don’t eat fish so I can’t remember the name but he liked it so much it looked like he washed plate lol but he just at it all! I wanted to go back next day! Great job Cody’s can’t wait to visit again!

This place was so delicious!!!! Chandler was a fantastic server. We had the milk bread, 14oz ribeye, we shared the halibut with lemon risotto and they split it for us!! We also had the Mac and cheese and the chocolate cake with salted caramel ice cream. INCREDIBLE!!!!!

I very much enjoy coming to Cody’s overall. I love the beef Wellington and the drinks are great! Sometimes a little on the saltier side. Service is generally good but can be hit and miss, especially for the quality of restaurant this is. It always seems to take a while to get service but I don’t usually mind because the food is yummy. It can also get quite noisy but they also have an outdoor area.

We had a wonderful, spontaneous belated birthday dinner at Cody’s. Everything was on point…service, cocktails and food, and atmosphere. We have lived in New Braunfels for about 2 and a half years now, and kept meaning to try Cody’s, and I am so glad we finely did. Our server, James, was friendly, knowledgeable, and timely. He definitely steered me in the right direction for my cocktail choice, Tequilas Fiery Revenge. It was perfect, just the right blend of heat and tang. My entree was the duck breast that was delicious…just the right amount of crispness on the skin/fat. For dessert we shared the caramel cheesecake with pecans, bacon bits and ice cream. Excellent!! All this to say, I highly recommend a trip to Cody’s in New Braunfels.
