Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to in Temecula.

The menu is unique with tons of great options. Our meals were delicious and paired perfectly with their wines.

The place is super clean with very friendly staff. The restrooms are clean as well.

Lots of room to park. Beautiful property with their wine tasting right next door.

They offer tiers of memberships that also offer shipping.

I don’t know how this restaurant has 3.5stars . Both dishes I ordered were standout and was some of the best winery food I’ve had . If anything just come for the wagyu carpaccio, the meat was perfect and that hint of truffle oil and cheese with the crisp salad on toast was magic .

The mushroom risotto was fantastic as well …. It came out pipping hot and perfectly cooked ( I added chicken to it ) . Highly recommend if you are in the area . My waiter Adrian was super nice, gave me a bunch of tastings and let me choose my wine. The wine itself however I would say is average.

We came here to celebrate our engagement on a Saturday night and were greeted warmly, which made us feel very welcome right away. The food came out in a timely manner, and our server checked in on us just the right amount.

We ordered the truffle fries and the pistachio crusted diver scallops. The truffle fries were decent, but we were very impressed with the scallops, highly recommended. For dessert, we had the classic crème brûlée, which my fiancé really enjoyed.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we’d definitely return.

Spent the day wine tasting and made reservations for lunch. Food was super yummy. Wines were decent. The grounds and landscaping is gorgeous.

Started with the hummus. It’s really thick and a bit dry. Needed to ask for more pita because it’s a big plate. The asparagus and prosciutto was good.

The mushroom risotto was super delicious and creamy. Very rich and filling. Caesar salad had a good flavor. The pesto chicken added a great punch to it. It’s huge! The superfood salad was one of my favorites. We added shrimp for an extra fee. They added 3 shrimp. Needed more! The corn chowder was yummy but needed to be hot. It was just lukewarm.

Nice location, great ambiance. Nice and quiet

Raw scallops, not sears and horrible pairing of garnishing. My risotto was mushroom and lacked flavor.

The chicken was powdery-dry in the risotto.

The Duck liver patè and mustard was good.

We declined the comp on food. It was just so bad, won’t be going back.

Luckily the server was friendly or we would have had a worse night for my wife’s bday.

Wine was ok. Sorry I don’t remember what we sampled.

Went for a late lunch for Father’s Day. The service was upbeat and friendly. The atmosphere is bright with upscale French country decor. The menu is ala carte with pricey entrees and small portions. The halibut was very nice and flavorful. The asparagus was hard on the ends and could not be chewed. The mushroom risotto was okay, but not worth ordering again. Disappointed because our first visit a couple years ago was fantastic.

We made a reservation for 6 pm for 4 people. We were seated right away and our waitress was amazing. She recommended the perfect wines and gave my husband options for his birthday treat. He chose the cheesecake and it was delicious. Beautiful atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

The restaurant at Leonessa Cellars offers a fantastic upscale dining experience. With a great atmosphere, excellent vegetarian options and some of the best food and wine pairings in Temecula, it’s definitely a place worth checking out. The food is top notch and the local wine selection is exceptional. Highly recommended

Been a member at Leoness for years and today was the worst experience I’ve had with my family. The waitress (Female) Took our order and everything started out right. She messed up the order and brought up the wrong food twice and then pretty much told us that we ordered the meal even tho we never even mentioned the meal she brought out.
I confronted her because my wife wouldn’t and she gave me tone.
The manager came out to make things right but overall I was really disappointed. I love this winery and always go there on the weekends ( reason why I got the membership) I’ve changed my mind and will cancel my membership because that’s just not the type of service I expect from a winery that charges a premium to be a member.
Leoness lost a good Client today. All these years I’ve never complained but this was a very bad experience.

My husband and I wanted to try the restaurant as new members of the winery. The gentleman who was the host was very polite and seated us. We waited 25 min for the waitress. There was a couple who sat after us in the same area. The waitress serviced them before us. I waited to see if she would come to us next after getting their order. She was about to but then turned around and went back inside to do what ever she had to do. There was no, ill be right with you. Nor give me a sec. So, we left. By the way, the couple who got service were not members. We will be back and will try this place one more time. Hopefully it’s a better experience.
