Reviews
We called ahead to place a large takeout order for about 20 people, and the team made the entire process incredibly so easy. The food was a huge hit across the board. There were tons of menu options, which made it easy for everyone to find something they loved. Definitely recommend trying an appetizer or two. We hung out inside for a bit while waiting for our food and it is casual, unpretentious, and has a classic brown bar feel in the best way. On top of that, the staff were all genuinely kind and welcoming.
Highly recommend for group orders, casual lunches, or anyone looking for great food in a laid-back atmosphere.
The dining rooms have always been clean, and the decor is nice for a pub.
Even though the service has been good, it has also been painfully slow. If you’re in no hurry, this would be a good place to visit.
Unfortunately, unusually small portions of good quality food are rather easy to unwittingly order. If I were to eat on another’s dime, I would try the specials and other enticing menu items in order to find a reasonably priced meal.
On the upside, Paddy’s is a nice place, and it can be fun. Also, the menu is diverse and sometimes imaginative. If the ROI from the menu were better, it could easily be a favorite haunt. To be fair, I’ve only lunched ay Paddy’s, and if other patrons brought ladies to dine with in the evenings, I would visit Paddy’s until I either found enough of a reason to regularly support it, or not. Even though the jury may still be out, Paddy’s is worth a fair appraisal. As we know all too well, many places are not.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with plenty of seating available so you never feel crowded. The food is consistently great, with a surprisingly large variety on the menu that offers something for everyone. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful, which adds to the overall pleasant experience.
**Cons:**
The entire space has more of a bar-like atmosphere, which may not appeal to those looking for a quieter dining environment. Additionally, when the restaurant hits its busiest times, the service can slow down noticeably, so expect longer waits during peak hours.
**Overall:**
A very nice and enjoyable place to visit, offering fun vibes and excellent food. Despite a few drawbacks, it’s definitely worth checking out for the quality and variety alone. Definitely make sure to try out the Reuben Egg Rolls!!
My husband started with the Ham and Bean soup and totally loved it! I think it’s a Friday special. He was relatively unimpressed when I showed him pics of their Reuben but he thought it was Amazing!!! Loved the Corned beef and Thousand Island which are both done in house. He would not shut up about the Rotellas Grilled rye bread… sooo buttery! He said it was a tie for first place! Fries were also good and seasoned well.
Food took quite awhile to come out. They were slammed and appeared to have a ton of to-go orders as well. My husband said he’d wait twice as long for a Reuben that good. Servers were running their tails off the entire time. I’d be betraying my Irish heritage had I not finished with a pint of Guinness.
