I got a small steak and cheese sub with onions and peppers. I asked to change the provolone cheese to pepper jack. They said yes. When I picked up my order I was very disappointed. The bag was so light weight I wondered if there was anything in the sub.
When I got home and unwrapped the sub it was ridiculous. There were so many LARGE undercooked pieces of pepper I could hardly see the meat. They obviously filled the roll with them. It was almost impossible to see any onions. And to top it off….NO CHEESE.
One and done. I will not be going back.

Great Market with really good sandwiches using Boars Head and fresh bread. Tried the breadsticks and they were light and fluffy. wish they had more garlic but I like things heavy garlicky… nice park across the street to have a picnic too!

Excellent varieties of food, drinks and and other goodies. Convenient parking in front and around the square. The staff is always really nice! The cookies and hot chocolate for the Luminaria Stroll was awesome!
In good weather it is easy to get something to eat and head off in any direction, grab a bench and enjoy the atmosphere.

Great food!! They use boars head meats, which in my opinion is the best out there. Owner and wife are always so friendly.

Love stopping by here for their sandwiches! Can’t beat fresh Italian bread and Boars Head meats and cheeses. They do it right here and I can always grab a cold drink for my daughter and a cup of hot coffee when we’re done with sports or headed to sports on our weekend and weeknights.

I used to really enjoy the subs at Monument Square Market, but they have recently gone downhill. Two of the last three weeks they have put mayonnaise on the Italian sub when I specifically asked for oil and no mayo. Also, the meatball park is tasty but very skimpy. They only put five meatballs on the sub and leave the ends of the roll with no meat or sauce. I may have to find a new spot, disappointingly.

I absolutely adore this place! I love stopping by for a pizza and a coke and they have lots of yummy treats to take home as a dessert after you’ve chowed down on a cheesy, crispy pizza pie the people are great, too, super nice and fun to talk to! And they deliver fast service too, they’ll tell you twenty minutes and then it’ll be done in ten! Totally recommend! 🙂

Amazing italian sandwich, very pleased and will be back. Made properly by splitting the roll all the way thru, making the sandwich and then laying the top on after. This is the only way to make a sub in my opinion, when you have meat and vegetables. Each bite is now uniform, unlike when the roll is partially split, it creates a log jam of vegetables on the top and meat on the bottom…
We’ll be back to try other sandwiches.Soon.
