This is a really nice very clean quaint place to eat. The food was great, and the portions are very good. I had to ask for a takeout box because there was a lot of food. They really fill up that bowl and it’s not a small bowl.

THE BEST food you will eat here in Ocala. EVERYTHING is FRESH, always HOT, and big portion for a good cheap price. The General Tso combo is AMAZING, the eggrolls are delicious, chicken wings are delicious, Mei-Fun is AMAZING, & the Wonton soup is AMAZING! Best OF THE BEST!! I hate having to eat any other different chinese place because they can never compete with how good Tasty Bowl is. On top of it all, the owners are wonderful & very, very AMAZING! Beautiful family that owns and runs such a great restaurant.

Now this is great tasting Chinese food. I ordered shrimp and broccoli with extra sauce and it was cooked well not mushy or overcooked.
The young lady that takes the orders in the front is always friendly and accommodating.
The restaurant is clean and staff cleans the tables as soon as your done eating.
If your looking for well cooked Chinese food this is your place. Thank me later

Not bad food but not even close to the best chinese food ive had. The staff is friendly and they took my order over the phone and my food was ready in less than 10 minutes, the restaurant was clean inside and had digital boards with the menu displayed. Tasty bowl is a bit pricy for the portions you get in my opinion,the rice is a bit bland and didn’t do much for me, the sweet and sour chicken was decent but there is a spice i couldn’t put my finger on that kind of had a odd after taste. Not mad that I tried it but unfortunately i won’t be coming back.

Don’t get the Mapo Tofu. Not Authentic. Has peas, carrots, and the same sweet brown sauce they probably put on twenty other things on the menu. no meat, obviously no chilis and/or sichuan peppercorn, and certainly not spicy (and I specified extra spicy) or having the mala flavor profile at all. For a 12 dollar+ meal I expect a bit more. Two stars for this item without considering the rest of the menu. Would have been one star, but at least it was edible and not completely disgusting. There may be other things that are worthwhile, but I will not be coming back to find out, as I continue my search for authentic recipes at a chinese take-out restaurant

I called and got a orange chicken lunchbox with fried rice when I picked my food up I had been given plain yellow rice when did fried rice come without any vegetables or onions I can understand no meat but to charge me $9.58 and my rice to be completely flavorless and not even a can soda is a rip off. What makes it a lunch box with no beverage?I’m usually a repeat customer when it comes to their house fried rice because it’s delicious but I’m really disappointed this time and don’t think I’ll be going back.

First time here and it was just, eh. I read the reviews and was hyped from the start but after going in, I was a little disappointed. I was hoping for one that their soup bowls had more flavor but they were too bland for my liking, and two, their chicken was too chewy. It was okay, but I have other favorite Chinese places so I won’t be going back.

Fantastic and VERY affordable food! Asked for no salt and received delicious food with no salt. Sweet and patient counter help. Place is mostly takeout and the pricing is better than most Chinese food locations I visit. Will definitely return!!
