Excellent upscale restaurant with excellent quality food and service. If you are lucky and need a table for two, maybe you can eat in the vault with the wine selection. Restaurant has main level and second floor balcony tables. Servers are very attentive and the owner stopped by to make sure we Had everything we needed. On street parking, or in the parking lot through the walkway.

My family called and set birthday reservations for a table of five on Saturday. We were seated upstairs in what at first appears to be a private room, except there are three large groups of people inside a small room and oversized furniture.
We were sitting at a vibrating table above what felt like a train station. The entire meal our table was shaking, along with the chairs and our feet on the floor. After seeing several other large open tables, we asked three different staff members to please seat us in another area. They refused, and so we stayed put.
The room has bare walls and no decorations to help dim the noise in this room. It was so loud, all we could hear was the rowdy table of 8 crammed in beside us at a boardroom conference table. We could barely hear our server recite the dinner specials.
Our group ordered 3 appetizers, 5 entrees, and one bottle of wine. The charbroiled oysters and calamari were a huge mistake to order, because neither of the dishes were fresh or tasted as they should.
The menu listed “bone-in pork chop,” which had no bone at all.
The menu listed two fried catfish filets and there was just one.
The menu listed asparagus and rice with the sea bass, making note of “no extra sides” … when in fact, there was maybe one pinch of asparagus shredded and tossed inside a bag of uncle ben’s dried-out rice. Sea bass also did not taste fresh at all, so it wasn’t eaten.
My salmon was well-flavored, but very much overcooked and dried out that it was almost too hard to bite into. The salmon came with five skinny stalks of asparagus, which I shared with my sister who didn’t have any with her sea bass.
I’m writing this to explain that my first visit was great only 3 months ago. So for my own birthday, I thought it was the best option in town. We all drove from three states to meet for the weekend and one night out, so I was embarrassed I made this choice. The entire group was disappointed by the staff, the food and the incredibly uncomfortable atmosphere you stuck us in.
I hope they can make improvements to provide better food and experiences for other guests in the future.

Grouper was really good. Scallops were ok, just slightly inconsistently cooked. Squash casserole was good. Server was new, but he tried. I ordered a drink and it was so strong, I couldn’t drink it. Way too strong, so I asked for more juice, and another glass to mix it myself. When we got the ticket we were charged for juice. I’d asked for a drink to go, and he’d charged me for it, as well as my tea I had with my meal. I ended up with 5 drink charges on the ticket, when I only had one alcoholic drink before, and tea with my food. When I asked, he said he might be able to take one off. Ummm. No. I’m not paying for 5 drinks. I’ve never been charged for a to go drink, when I had one with my meal.

Great food and service. Remodeled bank… you can eat in the vault. Upstairs seating available. Happy hour until 5pm, Margarita was great. We had the shrimp and grits… wow tasty cajun. Also 2 combo… scallop and grouper with 2 sides. Appetizer oysters Rockefeller. All very good. Would go back. Our favorites are Shrimp and grits, and the scallops.

We went for our anniversary and it was so fun! It is in a historic bank. They let us to our table and it was in a man actual bank vault turned wine cellar with a private table for 2! We had the creole nachos which were divine…seriously the best nachos I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant! Then we each had steak; I had a filet with a Gorgonzola sauce and he had a ribeye. Everything from the food to the service was absolutely wonderful! We went back last night and had the nachos again because I don’t think we can go and not order these. Had the scallops and they were perfection.

We ate here for the first time on a Wednesday night so it was not crowded. The food was perfectly prepared. My 8 oz. Fillet was tender and compared to eating at ‘Down town Grill’ or Natalia’s in Macon. The waiter was efficient and attentive. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his blackened grouper and scallops. I highly recommend this restaurant if your looking for a higher end steak and seafood place.
