What a fantastic experience from start to finish. My girlfriend and I tripped in from Philly. I’m newly diagnosed Celiac so we’ve been finding new spaces that offer plenty of Gluten Free options and sheesh was this the spot. But first the service. TJ (I think that was his name) greeted us right away and was ready to take an order or any questions we had. He throughly explained the diligence they put into keeping their menu gluten free. It was great to hear as it’s kinda awkward to ask sometimes. He was so personable we kinda chatted for a few minutes before ordering half the menu. If you’re gluten free you know how tough it can be to find those fried breaded products we all crave, well we couldn’t stop there so we got a pizza to and it was all FANTASTIC. The pizza was thick and doughy, which was so different from the thin gluten free options that are out there. Such a treat. A short trip out of south philly was WELL worth it for this Friday afternoon and we cannot wait to stop back. Even if you’re NOT gluten free, this is a fantastic place with incredible food and excellent service. Make the trip.

Me and my girlfriend who’s celiac went to Barclay Pies after hearing great things on TikTok about their new spot that offers gluten-free options. We’re always on the hunt for the best GF places, and this one absolutely blew us away.
The environment was comfortable and fun, and the service was impeccable. After seeing on their Instagram how carefully they prepare their gluten-free pies, we were already excited, but when one of the owners, TJ, personally brought our pie to the table, we were floored. It was hands down the best gluten-free pie we’ve ever had.
Then came the wings, and somehow, the experience got even better. They were unbelievably good, crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. When TJ came back to check in, you could tell how much they care, and go the extra mile.
Before we left, TJ even surprised us with a one of their new GF Sweeties cookie collab, which was really good too!
We’ll definitely be coming back regularly for the wings, pies, and to try everything else on the menu. Safe to say, Barclay Pies has become a new favorite.

Hands down the best GF pizza I’ve ever had! And the staff were so super sweet. I’m already recommending this to everyone I know in the area. My family couldn’t even tell it was gluten free pizza and they are pizza snobs LOL. 5/5 from me!

This is one of those spots that gets everything right by keeping the menu tight: pies, wings, and salads… Periodt. Quality ingredients, solid portions (i.e. wings that come 8 to an order) and unique flavors.
The pizza crust edge bubbles up beautifully in the brick oven (love that crunchy edge) with a thinness that’s the perfect vessel for sauce and toppings (I went with pepperoni).
The vibe here is cool and easygoing, not your typical pizzeria. It feels more like a neighborhood eatery than a themed Italian joint. The décor is bright, simple, and understated. Bonus points for the complimentary sparkling and still water near the juice cooler; pour it yourself into the clear plastic cups with lids and real straws. Very thoughtful touch, letting guests can stay hydrated without spending extra.
Can’t wait to visit again so I can try their Hawaiian pizza made with pork roll (or is it Taylor Ham?). Either way, it sounds like pure Jersey-meets-island magic, and I’m here for it!

If you are gluten-free and craving pizza or chicken tendies, Barclay Pies is your nirvana.
The pizza looks like pizza with a chewy crust and the crispy cheese edge that is the mark of a really good pie.
Chicken tenders are huge, juicy, and crispy. You absolutely have to try the honey dipping sauce.
The friendliest service and the staff is super careful about avoiding cross contamination.

After having ordered from here multiple times. I honestly don’t know what is going on with the past two times I’ve ordered and gotten food. My wife’s gluten free pizza turned out great but my normal pepperoni pizza has yet again plastic/cling film or whatever from them making down that I’ve bitten into and pulled out strings of it. I brought this to their attention last time I was there and they took care of it and talked to the kitchen team. But this happened again on a take out order. And was missing a sauce that I ordered for the pizza as well. The wife’s pizza and mozzarella sticks she loved. So I’d say great for allergies as they take their time but if no allergies they seem to rush and overlook stuff. Once I can forgive and overlook but a second time just seems like they didn’t learn from the first time or it didn’t stick.

If I could give more stars I would. This was such a great experience. Plenty of room inside, lovely patio, and family friendly. Most importantly, the pepperoni pizza was the best I’ve had in years. The other pizzas (we tried three) were also scrumptious but if you can nail pepperoni, you know what you’re doing. And Barclay Pies know what they’re doing.
