Got takeaway, waited a long time for delivery, with the website stating it was on its way for over 30 mins. Ordered lamb tikka hoping it would be more tender than standard lamb. It was not. Very chewy. Felt unwell within a few hours afterwards. Won’t be eating from here again.

We’ve loved Mushtaqs for over 10yrs but the new owners have ruined it food has suddenly became a lot smaller (eg garlic naan), mixed pakora doesn’t include mushroom now (even though it states it will on their menu) and curry has barely any chicken. Also, very fed up of being put on hold every time I call without an apology or thanks – the girl on the phone urgently needs a lesson in customer service.
And the new owners definitely don’t offer the previous 15min guaranteed delivery as seems to take 40mins onwards nowadays. Such a waste of a great restaurant

Been a regular at this takeaway for years but tonight is my last order. The tandoori chicken is disgusting. Has been nowhere near a tandoori oven, is rubbery and all pieces cut open as if to check cooked. Pakora was the same. Was giving it a chance since it was taken over but the last 3 orders have been awful. Plenty of better choices around

This place has gone down the pan. Always travelled from east kilbride to go here. Third time now, since new owners, we have ordered and either found hair in our food or, as today, had teeny tiny portions. One lamb curry= four tiny bits of lamb. Contacted twice before about hair in food and they didn’t get back. Don’t waste your money here,now.

Me & hubby sat in for a quick meal. Food was exactly as requested…1 curry very mild. Very delicious curries, rice & naan. Service was perfect & manager, Ali, made a point of having a friendly conversation. Restaurant side of business had just opened so it was quiet but am sure when its busy the atmosphere would be great. Highly recommend for sit in or takeaway as food is proper delicious. Will definitely be going back when we come down to Glasgow.
