Food is excellent. Breakfast enchiladas with eggs (montadas). Comes with one side. The hash browns were $2.50 extra. Soft drinks in bottles only, $2.59 each. I prefer fountain but the food made up for it. Total with tip around $23 for one. Order at the counter. Get your own napkins and silverware. It’s just over half more of a fast food place but the food is great!

We placed an order for takeout and ordered the red and green chilaquiles with scrambled eggs, beans and hash browns. When we got home and opened our plates, we noticed they didn’t put the hash browns in our plates. I paid $2.49 for each order to have hash browns and didn’t get any. Reason why I’m giving it a 4 star.

First order then find a seat, limited tables. 5 tables fit 6 people and 4 tables fit 2. You go grab your own utensils, coffee ☕️ or drink from the fridge and napkins. They only serve the food. From 1 to 10 a solid 78 overall.

I feel robbed. I went in for a takeout order and specifically asked if I could substitute the eggs on my chilaquiles for hashbrowns. The cashier said yes. When I got my food, the eggs were removed but I was still charged extra for the hashbrowns. I even left a tip because I thought they had accommodated my request. It wasn’t until later when I got home that I checked the receipt and saw the extra charge. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle. On top of that, take a look at the plating and you be the judge if this is worth $30 for chilaquiles. Huge thumbs down

It’s my third time coming here first two times I was very impressed but this time I ordered two burritos for almost $20 the young lady making the burritos had our order sitting on the line for a while while she was making tortillas for guests who were dining in which is fine but they were cold from sitting on the line while she was attending dine in guest. The red chili wasn’t the same it was watered down not sure if it was running low and they didn’t wanna make more or what. But very different experience.

This is wonderful place to grab a quick bite. You order at the counter then you are given a number and you find a seat. Drinks only come from a bottle but there is a good variety of options. Napkins, salsa and utensils are to the left of the counter. Menu is a nice size. Beans actually have flavor and don’t taste like paste. I ordered the combination plate. All items had great flavor and were made well. I would definitely come back.

We were greeted by cashier Lee & Alex the owner. Very friendly w great customer service. Food was very well balanced in seasoning & presentation. Most definitely coming back. Small restaurant w a good menu.

First off, we’ve been eating here since they opened and have only been disappointed once. Los Abuelos is probably one of the most consistent restaurants I’ve been to in terms of taste, quality, and service
Recently we went in during lunch and it was packed! I’m glad to see they’re super busy during weekends, but also during the week! We went in, ordered our food, ate, mingled, and left within 45 minutes. The food was served to us within 15 minutes despite the rush. The kitchen was hustling and all with a smile

Migas Supreme (pour some salsa verde from their bar)
Green Chilaquiles (add carne asada!)
Asado Rojo with Eggs
Chicharron burrito
Rajas con Queso omelet
Ranchera Omelet
Picadillo Tacos (add sour cream)

Quesadilla with Verde or Asado Rojo
Just try everything, it’s sooo good!
The place is always clean, smells like home cooking, friendly faces, just go!
Some considerations:
a bit smaller, but food comes out super quick
It can get loud at times
Beans are made with Chorizo, but ask without it for any dietary restrictions and they’ll accommodate
They’ll also accommodate catering if you need casseroles of chilaquiles, enchiladas, rice or beans, etc!

We’ve been there for the last two Sundays 4/28/24 & 5/5/24. We loved all the dishes we tried. On 4/28 I got Huevos Rancheros with beans and my Brother got Enchiladas montadas (eggs over enchiladas) and beans. We shared a side of potatoes with chorizo and a side of pancakes and OMG everything was so good even the coffee ☕️ tastes so good. Much better than our breakfasts at Cracker Barrel for sure!!!
On 5/5 I ordered Migas Supreme without chile verde and without cheese plus hash browns and beans. My Brother also ordered Migas Supreme with everything plus hash browns and beans.
