My husband won us a free meal for two on New Year’s Eve and we were not disappointed. Wonderful food and great service!

We were in Little Rock for a conference and it snowed. Most of the restaurants were closed and we ended up having to eat here for most of our meals for the week. Fortunately, the food was good. The brussels sprouts and the seafood pasta is delicious. Although they were short staffed some of their servers went above and beyond. They stayed overnight at the hotel and did their best to make sure we all had what we need.

Latoya was our server most days and she was delightful. She has auchna great sense on humor and was able to handle our large groups. While I wish we had the opportunity to try other restaurants in the area, this one did not disappoint.

Nice place to enjoy a glass of beer, wine or bourbon while watching a nice game. The food: from finger licking snacks to proper dishes, you can’t go wrong. I enjoyed a nice pasta recommended by very welcoming and pro waitresses. Toilets are clean, and the cleaning services are just on point.

One afternoon last week I met a friend and had lunch at the bar. One particular person stood out. The bartender/manger Tracy. Her customer service was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make what usually would be a quick lunch into an enjoyable afternoon and dining experience. A+++

This review is in regard to Shaq and Latoya! They were so welcoming and polite at our company end of year conference. Truly a pleasure to be around and went above and beyond to make our team feel special while bartending for us. I cannot recommend them enough, they were 2 hidden gems in Little Rock that will make it easy for me to come back!

We didn’t see the waitress very often. Long wait for food but they were busy that day with large groups. Lobster bisque was inedible. The rest of the meal was wonderful

The atmosphere is excellent. I wish more patrons had dressed appropriately. This is not a restaurant for shorts and flip-flops. I love it anytime I can get Fried Green Tomatoes, and this restaurant had delicious ones: the tomatoes were not mushy and the breading was crispy but not burned. I was sorry I had said I would share. I ordered the Thyme Roasted Half Chicken, but my plate seemed only to have a quarter chicken on it. Regardless, the chicken was perfectly moist and perfectly seasoned and the smashed potatoes that accompanied it made the plate more than a meal. Everyone in our group loved all their dishes. Also, the cocktails were superb: hand-crafted.

Latoya served our party each morning and made our visit to Little Rock delightful. Latoya explained the menu and made sure our food was prepared to order. She also took time to give us ideas for visiting the sites around Little Rock. Latoya even brought the Duck Master to our table for introductions as we asked about the duck images outside our window. Latoya was an outstanding server. We highly recommend Heritage Grille Steak and Fin inside the Marriott in Little Rock. If you go, ask for Latoya as you server.

SERVICE AND FOOD FAIL- I stayed at the Marriott overnight for work and came down for breakfast at 9am on a Saturday. There were only 2 other tables being serviced. I first tried to order the Power Bowl. The manager came to my table and brusquely told me they’re out of quinoa, “well, actually, we’d have to make more and you know that takes a long time so we can make anything else on the menu…” ok, fine, so I ordered the salmon Benny (smoked salmon eggs Benedict) and a side of chicken sausage. 15 min later the dish arrives with steaming hot sausage and cold eggs. The arugula side salad was wilted. My server, who was very pleasant, instantly noted my dissatisfaction and took the plate back to remake it. From another table, a dining patron said from across the room, “cold eggs? Yeah, me, too! You’d think they’d know not to make eggs first!” 10 minutes later the “remade” dish arrives- same plate, same very sad and wilted arugula, hollandaise sauce drying and crusting at the edges, and completely soggy english muffins with maybe half of the original portion of smoked salmon. Freshly poached eggs on top that are warm but not exactly hot. After a few bites it was obvious the kitchen had just scraped the old eggs off and put the plate under a heat lamp while making new eggs. I was hungry and, at the point, just wanted protein and to leave. I avoided the soggy english muffins and ate what I could tolerate. My server again noted my displeasure and asked if everything was OK. I said it wasn’t but I just want the check. She said, “I’m going to talk to my manager!”
A few minutes later the same manager who had explained the quinoa dilemma returned but this time was very aggressive- “you didn’t like your breakfast? What was your problem with it?” I replied with a full description of the issues, identified the timing problem in their kitchen, and then pointed out the obvious failure of remaking the dish by reusing everything but the eggs which resulted in inedible english muffins, wilted salad, and missing salmon. Let’s note, at no point did I ask anyone to comp the meal. I had, in fact, asked for my check. Again with aggression, the manager snaps, “well, I will remove the meal from your check. I will be bringing you a check for the coffee you drank.” This thinly veiled passive aggressive insult was rather amusing. She brought a check for $3.45 and asked if I have a card on file…I said here’s cash and put $4 on the table. She snarked, “I’ll be sure your server gets that.” Well, I’m not going to a leave a tip at an establishment that behaves like this. I never asked to be comped and only wanted breakfast. Shame on you, Heritage Grille, for your mediocre food made utterly unpleasant by an unnecessarily rude floor manager. No wonder your restaurant is empty on a Saturday morning.
