The service was top of the line, quick and thorough. The food was good, interesting but unfortunately had a some preparation issues being almost overdone consistently. That being said it was still good.
The fried green tomatoes were good, needed a little more seasoning in the breading but overall a much better version than many places that do a battered fried green tomato. Again I am hard on fried green tomatoes, it is just a personal thing. The hot dogs were in my opinion overcooked, but again not inedible. The sauce was good, with a bbq sauce base taste that actually worked fairly well with the slaw and cheese additional toppings.
The atmosphere is exactly perfect for the venue, that being a small rural bar and grill. Keep it simple at the bar though as the offerings are a little limited, but super affordable.
We walked in and was greeted and waited on by the sweetest young lady!
Cute little joint decorated in Military theme, owned by a retired Marine.
He himself makes everything from scratch! OHMYGOD the food was amazing and the cheesecake is the best I’ve ever had!
We will most definitely make this a place to ride to again.
First and last time eating here. Paid 15.00 for this. Last picture is the amount of corn beef off the grease soaked bread. Can’t eat it!
This was originally ordered as door dash. When no one accepted the order to be delivered to my hotel, I called and asked if I could still pick up. They could have offered to make me a new sandwich and kegs since they told me that doordash is hit or miss in this area. I am being fair. I paid $15.00 and I threw it in the garbage.
The day we went was crazy busy, with both a softball tournament and a harvest festival in town, adding to the stress of the understaffed restaurants. But they handled rude customers with grace, and the food was worth the wait.
Buns were delicious! Hamburgers were good, nothing special. Menus were sticky, need to be wiped daily. I rarely give 5 stars unless I’m thoroughly impressed.
We found it by accident while on vacation in Kentucky and made sure we returned the following night to enjoy great food and live entertainment. What a great night. The owner personally makes you feel welcome.
I had a Reuben- which rates very high for me. The flavor profile was there.
Wife had a Ralphy burger and I was impressed with that as well.
It’s hard getting good service and good food anymore, waste of time and money half the time and I did not feel that way leaving here. I am excited to go back.
