The Frontier Bar was a pleasant unexpected surprise. Late, hungry, and tired my buddy and I took a chance. The food was great well prepared, establishment was clean and enjoyably decorated, and the service was nice and Montana style friendly. Steaks and chicken are the way to go here. WOW we will be back in September! Thanks for having us and taking such good care.

I ordered 3 fried chicken dinners to go. The online menu says the price is $14.50 and includes toast with one additional side. I was charged $14.50 for the fried chicken and $1.75 for each side bringing the total to $16.50 for each meal.
The breading on the fried chicken was extremely salty, the fried chicken was cooked perfectly.
Now for the curly fries. These were awful! The curly fries were soft, mushy and soaked with cooking oil! I suspect the frying oil was not at the correct temperature. The potato wedges were a little better.
We threw out the fries after trying to rescue them in in air fryer.
I cannot recommend eating this meal. There may be better choices on the menu, but I will not be back.

Great comfort food
This bar like atmosphere is a great place to relax and talk with the locals. The comfort food will help get you through the day. The basic items do not come with a side, but the prices are reasonable for what they offer. You can order a side of fries or a bag of chips.
There is a casino inside for anyone who is of age.

My first time here, it was fantastic! Tara (server)& Donna (cook) were great! The fried chicken was soo good! What a cool place!! Cheese curds, jalapeno fries & half pound cheeseburger with pepper jack was out of this world!! Thanks again! If you’re ever in the area you have to go to Frontier bar and RV in Rexford, MT

The food was delicious, and the fried chicken was the best I have had in a long while – it was tender and juicy and the skin was perfect. Misty made our meal a great experience! She was kind, funny, & empathetic. I would highly recommend this restaurant & their team to anyone & everyone I know. My partner & I plan on making a trip back to see them & enjoy their bar again before our vacation ends. Also, Misty makes the best mixed drinks & the ones she developed herself are absolutely delicious.

We sat outside on the patio. I had the shrimp salad. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and was sooo good. The waitress was so friendly and nice. The atmosphere was fun too. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. Will definitely be going back!

This is a wonderful find while staying at nearby Rexford Bench campground. The food and service were great and they had at least a dozen beers on tap. The fried catfish was tremendous.
