Fire. Doesn’t get any more authentic than this. Man cooking and singing in the kitchen. Had the menudo and picadillo burrito with avocado and cheese. Can’t wait to come back and try something else. FYI they only take cash or check. Special shout out to the lil old Mexican lady in the kitchen, she was the cook. She’s a master of her craft.

This place is consistently good, the prices are great, and the service is always fast. I always get the chilaquiles and have never been disappointed.
In 2025 this place is surviving the test of time. Prices have only slightly changed during this era of hyper-inflation, and Bravos still boasts one of the best value meals in the entire Mesilla Valley.
The quality of the food remains as a staple comfort food.
I finally tried a gordita and I was not disappointed.
10/10 strongly recommend for anyone looking for a hole in the wall.

Love the table clothes! Chilaquiles $4.50 can’t wait to taste it. (Omgoodness the best I have ever had) This is a good little 9 table clean and local Taqueria. The young lady greeted me in Spanish and was fast efficient and friendly!!

CASH ONLY!! Food was fit for a king! I felt like I was eating breakfast at home. The tortillas were excellent. Now the fly problem is the only reason this place isn’t a 5 star restaurant.

Excellent menudo! Small corner cafe, order at the counter and when it’s ready they call you up or bring it to you. I have been here twice and ordered menudo twice. Other dishes looked good as well. I will be back and may try something else.

First the good. The food SEEMED to be good(see below). Now, the bad. There are a few simple things they could do to bump up my rating. Bussing the tables in a timely manner would be huge. Multiple customers had to sit at tables that had the previous customers dirty dishes. Clean the windows. Get rid of the flies. Get the food out in a timely manner. I had to leave before getting my food…so I don’t know if it’s good. Accept credit cards.

The go to place for the very best menudo!!!! No question about it! Small atmosphere. No problem. Dine or carry out. Last time I checked you can bring your own container for your menudo. The have a variety of choices for breakfast and lunch. I would have given it 5 stars but they only take cash. Still definitely worth going. $-$$⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/2
