Fantastic value for the price! Really satisfied of the quality , size of the hoagies and did not cost much! Ordering over the phone is easy with helpful staff(as well as in the store). Food always ready on time and consistenly great quality. Usually get the 12 inch seeded roll Don Cheech( turkey diablo hoagie ) and 12 inch seeded roll Auletto (roast beef diablo hoagie) ordered both with lettuce, tomato, onion. Also grabbed the Big Joe Sandwich(Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, roasted reds.*added long hots) got on a seeded roll.
Whenever I’m in the mood for consistently great sandwiches in Pitman I will go here!

I have lived in Pitman for a few years now and I do love supporting local businesses and will continue to do so (Mama Marie’s included. HOWEVER, I have to give an honest review of my recent experience.
My wife and I ordered 2 sandwiches online recently and mine was very burnt (see photo). I deducted 2 stars, one for burning the bread and the other for lacking the decency to replace the burnt piece. I did not call or attempt to get a new sandwich so I will not make up any kind of story. I assume they would have made it right. Even though I did not let them know about this immediately, the burn is significant/obvious enough to be replaced and not served to a customer. The lack of care is what motivated me to write this.
I will continue to eat here but please, a bit more effort would be appreciated.
EDIT: The owner called me directly and offered to make it right. Greatly appreciated and as always the food was delicious!

We love Mama Marie’s!!! Hands down best breakfast sandwiches around! Super reasonable pricing too. Good vibes from the owners & environment. I haven’t participated in their catering menu, but it always looks yummy & amazing!!

I finally hit up Mama Marie’s in Pitman today, and lets just say after seeing good reviews online and a vid by another food influencer, expectations were met and exceeded.
I wish they could take over the slogans “better ingredients, better food, Mama Marie’s” and “when you’re here you’re family.” The roast beef and roast pork are made by scratch in house and they treat you like family while you are dining in. Pictured you shall see:
Auletto- roast beef/pepper jack/diablo spread
Roast Pork Rome- roast pork/sharp prov/broccoli rabe
Little Nicky- prosciutto/prov/capocolla/genoa salami
Angela- eggplant/sharp prov/broccoli rabe/roasted red peppers

Roast beef perfectly sliced thinly and stacked high. The diablo spread gave a perfect sweet and heat compliment tingle to the tongue. Good luck finishing that 12 inch hoagie in 1 sitting!
Roast pork was my favorite. Typically you find the pork sliced thinly but here it cubed. Wonderful change as I feel like it absorbed the juices better. The cubes were so tender that they shred upon bite or squeeze. The sharpness of the provolone and the garlicky broccoli rabe will really blow you away. The sesame roll held up perfectly unlike other high quality roast pork sandwiches I’ve had before.
Little Nicky is an italian hoagie. Typically you get some cheap cuts but here you get some prosciutto and dude, I personally love prosciutto. Just a well crafted delicious sandwich
My wife got the Angela and she said it was absolutely delicious. She stated the eggplant really stood out to her and had great flavor. It was so good that she had to take a nap after eating it.
Everything on the menu pretty much ranges from $7-$10. In my opinion, you won’t find too many deli’s and sandwich shops that are making their a lot by scratch or with as much love. Grab a sandwich and a root beer from Mama Marie’s and enjoy!

Stopped by for the first time to grab a quick sandwich for lunch and was really blown away! Chicken salad sandwich was excellent! I was with a group of about 10 people and we all were saying that everything we got was delicious. I will definitely be back soon.

This place serves gluten free bread so it is great to have a sub on GF bread. The inside is old and not well kept up. I would not eat in there. The sandwiches are big and good and a decent price.

Last week bought 2 hoagies on gluten-free rolls.Taste just like the package rolls-nasty! Here I was hoping it would be good.They are so nice In there.Very disappointed. Sadly, pictures can be deceiving. I ordered a hoagie on their “famous” gluten free hoagie roll. Unfortunately, it was as bad as an Udi’s roll, which is pretty bad. Plus they charged an extra $4 for the roll! Never again.
