Pasta Fresca is nothing but exceptional, the food and cultural background speaks for itself! This was the best dining experience we have had in Reno, as locals of +10 years.

To start, warm, sliced bread was brought to our table, of which we accompanied with high quality olive oil, and balsamic vinegar which was provided at the table. To follow, I ordered an appetizer special, a glass of Italian wine recommended by the waiter to pair with my spicy vodka pasta. The recommendation was tremendous and paired smoothly.

The pasta was simply the best pasta I have had the pleasure of having. The rigatoni was soft, but gummy, as authentic rigatoni should be. The sauce was made with wholesome ingredients to taste, and the vodka, as well as the spice, was clear, but not overpowering. Overall the best pasta I have had. The lasagna was equally as impressive. My boyfriend’s face from the moment he took his first bite said it all!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cozy and small, and the waiter and men behind the counter were VERY attentive, and kind. We finished off the night with a good sized portion of thick and creamy tiramisu, and still had a good portion of pasta and lasagne remaining to take home, despite being very full.

Prices in comparison to the quality of food with the cultural expertise, is FANTASTIC. Reno is lucky to have a gem like Pasta Fresca! We are looking forward to being back!

Amazing restaurant!! Best gluten free pasta in town. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I love that they use local and high quality ingredients. Their meats and vegetables are some of the best in this town. You will not be disappointed if you eat quality food. Their quality is beyond most places in this town!

If you’re looking for real authentic Italian food, this is the restaurant for you. The staff was super helpful and kind the whole time my wife and baby were there. And the salmon with the vodka sauce was to die for. Highly recommend Pasta Fresca for anyone that’s looking for a great date night.

I don’t typically come over to this side of town but tried Pasta Fresca when they first opened and remembered it being amazing. Was over here for an event and decided to stop in for dinner. Got the pasta vincenzo and cheesecake. The pasta was exactly as I remembered, a warm hug in a bowl. And the cheesecake with pears was delicate and delicious-perfect end to my meal.
But the best part of the experience was definitely the service. If you get a chance, you have to come when Ali is serving. Her warmth and genuine care in your experience stood out! And she’s here on Mondays and Tuesdays! Though, I’m sure the food is outstanding no matter what the day!!

Pasta Fresca is the kind of gem that makes you fall in love with supporting local businesses. My boyfriend and I came in for dinner and ordered the nightly special: gnocchi with creamy pesto sauce. Hands down, the BEST gnocchi we’ve ever had. Perfectly tender, stuffed with cheese in the center, and paired with a sauce that was rich without being heavy. It was absolute perfection.

We casually asked if they ever sold their gnocchi to cook at home, and to our surprise, they said no one had ever asked – but of course, yes! They sent us home with two packages, along with some extra cheese and tips on the best way to prepare it. We cooked it the next night, and it was still the best gnocchi we’ve ever had.

The food is phenomenal, but what makes Pasta Fresca truly special is the generosity and heart of the people who run it. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, and you can tell how much pride they take in their craft.

If you want incredible handmade pasta and a reminder of why it’s worth supporting local, look no further. Highly, highly recommend!

Quality of food, service, price, is a 10/10. My family and I have been going to this place for 3 years now and they are consistent in every way. The owner is the sweetest guy. His name is Paolo and Ally the manager is also very sweet. My son and husband always order the pasta with bolognese and I order the gluten free pasta with shrimps and pink vodka sauce. It is so fresh!

I really wanted Pasta Fresca to be more than it was. Seeing them at the farmers market made me prioritize the restaurant.

The quality of the food was so good – very tasty dishes. Where I have issues is with the quantity of food and the pricing that is given. I normally do not complain about this stuff, but I really felt like I get skimped.

The ravioli was $27 and only came with 6 small ravioli. The vodka pasta was $20 and was just noodles & sauce. If you add protein it will be $30.

While the food is very tasty, you do not get your moneys worth. We had to go get some in n out afterwards to finish filling ourselves up.

The location is also not a super high end spot – it’s just picnic table clothes and chairs, so the ambiance can use work. All of this okay, but at the price point I would expect a nicer atmosphere.

Overall – the food tasted good, but the price does not correlate to what you receive. Crazy high prices for the dishes, so I will probably not be back.

Our whole bill was $76 – two pastas and 1 glass of wine.

This place is fantastic. I’ve had the privilege of several trips to Italy. This is true Italian bliss. The waiter suggested a wine varietal I had never had and it was full-bodied and jammy– the prefect accompaniment to the spicy pink sauce with house made bucatini that he also suggested. There wasn’t a table to be had at 7 on a Tuesday night. I asked the waiter if they had two cannolis to go and his response was very telling. “We make them to order so that is a yes.” (Protip–best breakfast ever.) I see that someone complained about the food prices in a review. There is a plethora of fast food out there if you want something on the cheap. This food takes time and artistry is evident. I didn’t mind paying for the time and skill that obviously went into my meal. Strongly recommend.

Review: a good, little Italian spot for dinner. They do take reservations and asked us if we had any which we did not, so you might want to take that into consideration before choosing this place, but it might not be an issue. Overall, the food was really good & had gluten free options. I thought that the portion sizes were a little small for the price point to be honest, but the quality was definitely pretty darn good. It is a smaller establishment without a large seating area, but definitely enough.

Was very excited to end our trip here. We called and easily got a reservation and our table was ready for us when we arrived. That’s were the service declined. Our waitress came a couple of times. We had just water that you served yourself (our choice ), but it remained empty after first cup because bottle was empty and then asked for bread when meal came and she didn’t return until time to get plates. I heard a few patrons yell out for additional bread. By the time she returned we were finished. She took plates but then the check was super slow. Important part obviously is food. I wouldn’t go back but it was fresh and cheesy and obviously quality ingredients. They didn’t skimp on cheese or meat. It just wasn’t a favorite of ours.
