$8.24 for a “Lavender Fog” with oat milk to be made with burnt coffee. you read that right…not Earl Grey tea like a lavender fog is made everywhere else in the world….coffee…
To be clear, it’s okay to not know what a drink is if the drinks are cheap and you ask for clarification when a customer orders something you haven’t heard of. But when you’re charging $8 + upfront tip for a drink, there are certain expectations that come along with that and familiarity with common drinks is one of those expectations, along with how to properly pull a shot, froth milks, etc.
And it’s not the barista’s fault if she hasn’t been trained. That’s on you, the owner. Take a look at your prices, because I just dropped $30 for three drinks, two of which won’t get consumed and that’s a bummer that means I won’t return or recommend to my friends.

I picked an off day to stop in, but I still had pleasant service and good recommendations.
I had the brown sugar scone this morning (warmed a little) and it was SO good. The dragon fruit lemonade refresher was STRONG. Very tart and sweet, but a fun treat.
Would love to come back on a better day and hang out. The downtown area has some neat shops and architecture.

I want to give a better review. Things have just seemed to change since the re-brand. The prices are to high, we always enjoyed Lisa and Rhonda working the front. Two young ladies gave me unsweet tea when I asked for sweet, due to it being close to closing they had already dumped the tea and did not offer a fix.
The portion sizes also are small for what you pay for. I would suggest upping the portion sizes, and cutting back on prices. Especially the burgers and hotdogs.

This is my 5th visit and can fairly say this is the cafe to go to (being experienced in the coffee biz myself, don’t say that often)! Very friendly staff, very accommodating to request and friendly clientele! Never a bad visit!

Food is great, didn’t take too long. But, if it did it’s because of long ticket orders, which is fine and acceptable, if you can’t handle waiting 5-10 mins, then go to mcdonalds.

This is our favorite breakfast place in Roxboro. Food is good. A little pricey for this type of place. We’ve only had breakfast here and we like the omelets, eggs, meats, hash browns, etc. My daughter loves the breakfast sandwiches that come on the mini-waffles.

First time trying since switched from Tricia’s. I chose the house coffee. It wasn’t as strong as I’m used to. I also typically use sweet n low, so stopped on the way home to find some. Otherwise, nice staff.

Fist time there and it was amazing. I had the Vanilla Ice Cap and my daughter had the Milky Way Ice Cap. Both drinks were delicious. Also bought some of their cookies to take home. The cookies are the best cookies we’ve ever ate. They are definitely made from scratch. We will definitely be regulars at this coffee shop from now on. Amazing local find.
