I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese and a hibiscus tea (iced). They gave me an iced coffee and no sandwich. I mentioned I didn’t order a coffee and that I was waiting for my tea. Lady mentioned ‘no, you ordered a coffee’. Mind you, I dont even drink coffee.
When I asked ‘what about my sandwich?’, because the workers were all standing around talking, they mentioned they never charged me for one. The lady then proceeded to charge me another $10 (9 something) for the sandwich and the tea I originally asked for.
On top of all the problems with my order and then charging me again, they were all standing there staring at me while the lady gave me an attitude. And that’s in front of clients.
NEVER AGAIN.
The workers were not flexible. While I was waiting in line, a woman with two small children tried to order and cannot order on the screen. She asked politely to order with one of the workers, and they laughed and shared that she had to use the screen. And they couldn’t run her card.. rude… I worked at dunks for many years in Massachusetts and I know there’s a way to help our customers and use card on our machines. Disrespectful. And they were also rude to me as I was ordering.
Will not be back here
This incident, while unfortunate, could serve as a catalyst for positive change. I would encourage the management to invest in further training, focusing on communication skills and customer service principles. Empowering their team to manage situations with professionalism and courtesy is crucial.
With commitment to such improvement, I’m hopeful that this location has the potential to offer a stellar experience to its patrons in the future.
For the moment, regrettably, I must rate this experience with one star and cannot endorse a return to this particular Dunkin’ location based on the current circumstances.
Whenever i need to travel to Boston, this branch is my first stop.
