Visited Rooster’s Crow Cafe for breakfast and had a delightful experience. We arrived at 7:30 AM and found plenty of open seating, though I noticed it got busier after 8:00 AM—so arriving early is a good strategy.
One standout feature was their reduced price menu available from 6:00 to 8:00 AM. It offered a variety of options, making it an appealing choice for early risers.
We ordered the egg and meats breakfast and the pancake breakfast, both of which were delicious. The portions were generous and well-prepared. To top it off, we couldn’t resist getting two donuts to go, which were just as satisfying.
Overall, it was a very positive experience. I highly recommend Rooster’s Crow Cafe for a great start to your day!

Tried this place Labor Day weekend after a night camping and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was not as busy as we anticipated it might be. Decor is pretty standard for mountain-breakfast-nook.
PROS: Holy smokes the sausage gravy is top-tier. Medal worthy. Get the breakfast burrito and smother it in gravy. The eggs Florentine had an amazing croissant under them to soak up all the egg. Coffee was filled repeatedly, before I needed to ask. Lots of hot sauces and creamers on each table. They did fun designs on pancakes for the young kids at the next table over.
CONS: zero complaints here.

Drove from leadville to eat out and definitely was not disappointed, the server was super friendly, nice and attentive.We had the full plate breakfast and biscuits and gravy. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the rest was fantastic definitely will be back!

Hubby had the biscuits and sausage gravy plus (2 eggs over medium, and hash browns without onion). He is a biscuits-and-gravy snob, and he said this was some of the best he’s had. The flavor was exceptional, the portion above average, and the biscuits were fresh. The eggs were perfectly prepared.
I had the 2 eggs over medium, hash browns with onion (deliciously sweet onion, btw), and English muffin. Everything was super.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal, experienced great service–all at a reasonable price! We’ll definitely be back when we return to BV.

Had a wonderful meal here before hiking in the mountains. The service was a little shower than I would have hoped, but luckily didn’t affect my travel plans. The restaurant was clean and well-decorated with a cozy feel. My breakfast skillet was exactly what I needed to begin a long day of traveling and hiking. I would definitely come back and recommend.
