One of the better quick service restaurants on Disney property. Been here several times and always consistent. The tomato soup is excellent but a little spicy. The chicken sandwich is very tasty. The Margherita pizza was decent. A little thin on sauce but good flavor. The crispy glazed chicken strips are average tasting.

Staff and atmosphere are always great. Ordered the Margherita pizza. Toppings were tasty but the bread not done to my preference, but was cooked all the way thru. They used to have a polenta dish which was amazing–don’t know when they removed from the menu. Ordered the holiday ginger and chocolate cookie. It was chewy and tasty with a light ginger flavor (I prefer stronger ginger cookies). Would recommend both.

absolutely love this place. I was staying at pop century on my most recent trip and decided to take the Skyliner over to the Riviera to try Primo Piatto. I’ve heard great things and I have to say it did not disappoint.

You order at a counter, they give you a buzzer and you sit down. We were expecting to have to go back up to the counter to get our food, but to our surprise, a waiter brought our food right to our table. I’m not used to restaurants having real plates and silverware, but this one did.
I was in a two and we both ordered the Bolognese. For how fast it came out and for a quick service restaurant it was DELICIOUS. it was a decent portion of food and the flavor was immaculate.
When we were done a waiter, came by and picked up our plates for us as well.
If you’re staying at the Riviera or any of the Skyliner resorts, I highly recommend stopping here for a lunch or dinner.

Primo Piatto at Disney’s Riviera Resort is a convenient and generally good spot for breakfast. They offer a variety of options, including the ever-popular Mickey Waffles, which were a definite highlight of our meal. The bacon was also good, adding a nice savory component.
While there’s plenty of seating available, you also have the option to take your order to go, which is a nice perk for those on the move.
However, we strongly recommend avoiding the scrambled eggs. They had a distinct, artificial taste, reminiscent of an egg mix rather than fresh eggs.

We were disappointed by our experience here. Italian sandwich had good flavor but was served refrigerated so bread and toppings weren’t very enjoyable. Parmesan fries was just regular Disney fries with shredded Parmesan on top. Hamburger was not our favorite at the park.
Best thing was the bolognese but still tasted like something you could get in a cafeteria. For a “European” themed restaurant it left something to be desired with food quality and taste.

Very unlikely that we will return. Food was quite disappointing overall this trip, but the restaurant was clean and the playlist delightful.
Menu items need a MUCH more detailed description. Staff and cashiers need to have a thorough understanding of menu ingredients. No one even asked about allergies! When entrees include sides, that information needs to disclosed. Without all of this information, you are essentially ordering blind.
Breakfast to go on Jan 3, 2026 was again just ok. Had Croque Madame which was quite dreadful (tough bread crust – VERY difficult to cut without a steak knife) topped with a rubbery egg, but the blueberry lemon pancakes with a side of egg whites was good.
Lunch on Jan 2, 2026 was just ok. Had Croque Monsieur (tough bread crust) with spicy tomato soup (too spicy) and veggie pita (WAY too much oil). You really need a steak knife to cut the sandwich into bite sized pieces.
Dec 2024 – This is much more like a bistro than a Disney food court. The menu is very good, the staff members are attentive and knowledgeable, and the restaurant is pleasant and clean. We enjoyed a take-out order of Croque Monsieur and Pizza Margherita – both were yummy! Well done!
The restaurant also has refrigerated and grab-and-go items, and it is the prime location to refill your Disney drink mugs to stay hydrated.

The best and healthiest quick serve in all of disney property. Meals are served on real silverware and plates and delivered to you without requiring a tip. The ambience is fun french riviera. Always a win. Can get very busy.
