Stopped by before work for coffee, a milk tea for my son, and a cookie. Unfortunately, the cookie tasted rancid with a strong aftertaste. I called to let the shop know, but there was no acknowledgment of the issue or effort to address it. I simply received an “okay, thanks.”

If baked goods are not made in house, this may be worth reviewing with your team but especially with your baked goods supplier. At $6.50, plus the drive and experience, this was disappointing. I support small businesses, but this visit missed the mark. As for the coffee, something simply was missing or off. May try something different if I return.

I ended up going to CFA for a cookie and regular coffee after this.

*edited to add a screenshot of the very brief call I had with the establishment after their reply.

Passing through and had to try the boba. Cute atmosphere – variety of music playing, game console and board/card games, a few boba items to purchase, and decorate for fall.

Vanilla Latte and boba drinks were all delicious.

First time visiting. It’s a Cozy little place on Hwy 90 in Castroville. Stopped for a Boba Passion and Lemon Fruit Tea and a Drip Coffee. Just the right thing for an afternoon break for me and the Mrs. A very relaxing atmosphere as we sat and enjoyed our beverages. You should come on out to Castroville and check them out!

10/10 – New Favorite Spot for Boba & Vibes!

Bean & Boba is such a hidden gem! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with cozy vibes, fun decor, and a game area stocked with classics like Connect Four and card games. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay and hang out for a while.

We ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with tapioca boba and the Strawberry Matcha Latte—both were absolutely delicious! The brown sugar milk tea was rich and perfectly sweet, with soft, chewy boba that tasted freshly made. The strawberry matcha latte was the perfect balance of earthy and fruity, and it looked as good as it tasted.

The menu has so many creative options, from specialty drinks to coffee and pastries, and you can customize everything—milk type, sweetness, flavors, even add fun toppings or foams. They really thought of everything.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, and even the little touches like the playful tip screen (“don’t wanna feel bad” had us cracking up) made the whole experience feel warm and fun.

Prices are reasonable, the quality is top notch, and the space is perfect for meeting up with friends or getting work done. We’ll definitely be back!

For it being a boba shop I’m surprised how bad the boba quality is, meaning if it’s not made right it’s either soggy or hard in the middle. Ive come here a few times and it’s always soggy or hard in the middle. As for the flavor it’s hit or miss, depends on who’s working. Ordered a Salted Carmel milk drink and it didn’t taste like Carmel, more like salted milk. Other times I ordered the taro and it was actually enjoyable. Staff was decent just wish the boba was of good quality.

They had vegan options for drinks and food. The order was prepared quickly.

The parking was a bit confusing. No one else was parked, but a rocky patch of earth seemed to be the parking lot, next to a drive-through speaker. After I arrived, other people parked near me.

Plenty of games for entertainment. Table top / board games, old school consoles, arcade games.

I am a bit iffy if a wheelchair could fit into the bathroom.

A few jewelry items and trinkets also for display/sale, if that interests you.

Seems like a great place to hang out.

I guess, the designer in me does wish the logo was better. It might have made the location easier to spot when driving over.

I stopped by this place and it was super cozy and the vibes felt so nice in there. The customer service was top-notch. I was greeted when I walked in and they corrected my order. I got a brown sugar milk tea, but it was super water down so I called and asked if they can exchange the drink for another item and they said yes so I got a vanilla oat milk latte and it was super delicious and they made it right I really appreciate their kind service and going above and beyond to make me a happy customer.

Coffee was hot fresh and good. Large variety of sweeteners. I like heavy cream in my coffee and they had that too. A little expensive, but prices everywhere are going up so I may not be the best judge of that.

amazing spot for coffee and boba drinks. food and pastries are really good. however, today i ordered a frappe and a croissant. the croissant was properly heated and very yummy, but the frappe was undrinkable because the girl who served us didn’t crush the ice enough. i had to eat the large ice chunks at the bottom of the drink. ts pmo
