I’ve never been a fan of ordering food at the counter unless it’s fast food, so that was a disappointment.
Having the drip coffee bar and picking out your mug was great, but the drip coffee was truly terrible, very watered down.
Food was wonderful, I had the biscuits and gravy and my husband had the burrito, we both enjoyed our meals.
Over all, the food was good but the atmosphere was not great and having to ask the counter for everything is annoying.

Everything is homemade and very delicious. I had the build your own omelette (peppers, onions, spinach and cheese). It was amazing and served with toast and seasoned potatoes. My son had the West Coast Melt. He said it was “pretty good, too much cranberry spread”. Honestly for him, that’s big praise. Coffee was good and fresh. I’ll be back and often!

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to visit the Kentucky Artisan Distillery. We had a very nice meal.

I judge new breakfast places by their biscuits and gravy, comparing them to my mom’s. IMHO they were very tasty. The biscuits were excellent and very flaky without falling apart.

We also ordered the acacado toast that was very good. The plating was impressive but the blending of flavors made it near perfect.

We finished it off with a half order of beignets. Fluffy and coated with the perfect amount of sugar. To quote my wife, “Mmmmmm, mmmmm, MMMMMMM, Mmmmm.”

I highly recommend stopping here if you get a chance.

Our first visit to Wilders Cafe and won’t be our last. Nice clean cafe with friendly folks. We had the avocado toast special and it was fabulous; definitely one of the better breakfast dishes I have ever had. Coffee was fresh and good flavor. We look forward to returning soon.

We Decided to stop by and give this place a try. We had the signature burrito and the bluegrass french toast (bourbon maple syrup & pecans on top). Everything was cooked to order and prices were appropriate for what we were served. A good casual cafe to try if you’re in the area!

Great food, nice people, highly recommend it. Had the Country Club w fries. And Jambalaya on Fat Tuesday. Classic breakfast and meat omelette also solid 🙂

I wanted to like this place. But I waited just over thirty minutes (based upon my receipt timestamp) after ordering before my food showed up, only to have it handed to me in a to go box… I was dining in, and was never asked if I wanted takeout. Then trying to flag someone down for basic condiments took forever because the customers seemed to be invisible to the staff once their food was handed off.

The menu looks promising, and perhaps some items are. But the chorizo omelet from the daily specials was bland (I could *see* the meat, but didn’t taste it at all). The toast was plain – though perhaps they don’t butter it by default here. The only redeeming part of the meal was the potatoes, which were seasoned pretty much perfectly.

For a road trip detour, I left fed, but not really satisfied from the meal.

Stopped in for brunch and it’s a cute little place! I got the juniors breakfast, eggs were cooked perfectly and the biscuit was so fluffy and delicious; love that they cut it and griddle it for a slight crunch. The pancakes were delicious and the service was great. Wish it wasn’t so quiet in there though, needs some music but otherwise great experience.

Small quiet breakfast & brunch restraunt. Omelets, homemade chicken salad, sandwiches, wraps. Food is cooked as ordered. Delicious food. Hidden in strip mall behind McDonalds & Hometown. Very clean. Picture of chicken salad, Mainstreet Omelet & potatoes

This has to be one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. I ordered the junior egg breakfast with biscuits and I’m so delighted with the meal! These biscuits are to die for. I’m serious these have to be the best ones I’ve ever tasted. The breakfast potatoes are wonderfully seasoned. The scrambled eggs have the perfect texture. The turkey sausage was delicious also and full of this wonderful sage flavor. This place has just gained a customer for life.
And the staff! They are so friendly and kind. This was the best way to start my day.

I ordered a cinnamon roll To go because the breakfast filled me up but they just looked too wonderful to pass up.

If you haven’t stopped in you are definitely missing out. What a hidden gem!
