Classic place for grab and go food. Really has all the staples. Good meal deals which include main/side/soda/ dessert. Good size portion to fill and share. Was definitely a little busy so a little wait time but overall okay. Location is pretty clean for fast food- overall good

Okay, I was not looking forward to going to Dairy Queen but I must say they have upped their food game. I was pleasantly surprised with their double cheeseburger with bacon and two different types of cheeses. The onion rings and the french fries were good too, nice and hot. Loved the onion rings. They were banging. And for the price I would rather go to dairy Queen than McDonald’s. I will be back. Plus, they have outdoor seating too.

I visit DQ once in a while for a treat with the kids. We usually order a 6 piece basket, a burger combo and a kids meal. We live in in the area so we thought we’d try this one since we always go to Manchester and we love Manchester, they really care about their customers unlike South Windsor…. I really don’t like to write reviews for the first visit however they had so many misses I would have thought they had a line out to the street, but no……they were dead.

The fries were over cooked potato shards that barely filled the tray, the burger was like warm like it was pre made, the chicken was not really chicken here but 4 out of the 6 pieces were mostly hard breeding and a 1/4 of the size of Manchester. We were not told there was no white milk and instead was just given nothing, at this point I am afraid to order ice cream because I just don’t want another disappointment…..

Why does this happen to these chains? Lack of leadership. I don’t blame any of the employees, most of them are trying their best. Lack of leadership is what ruins places.

Went through five through at 4:30pm. Very nice gentleman that was working. Fast service and good food. I always seem to forget about this place when thinking of getting something to eat but it is probably because it’s so expensive. I got a 4 piece chicken with fries and a medium blizzard. I paid with a 20 and got back a dollar! I work in East Hartford but since this is right off the highway, it only takes about 5 minutes to get here from main St in East Hartford.

I saw Nathan Oseruck at Dairy Queen the other day, and unfortunately, he had a bit of a mishap. While he was carrying a tray of ice cream cones, he tripped and fell, causing quite a scene. Despite the fall, Nathan quickly got back up, brushed himself off, and made sure to check if anyone else was affected by the spill. His positive attitude and quick recovery impressed everyone around, and he continued to serve customers with the same dedication and cheerfulness. It was clear that even in an embarrassing moment, Nathan handled the situation with grace and professionalism. Pictured is the star employee himself

This place is very disappointing. I’m not the type to write reviews but after multiple bad experiences I have to say something. I only ever order fries at Dairy Queen so speaking form that experience I’m very desapoye with the fries. And yes every time I get the fries they’re cold and oversalted. I mean if anything a fry should be hot and if they can’t get it to be hot numerous times there’s a real problem at this location.

This Dairy Queen is by far the best one in the state

The milkshake was perfectly prepared and the best double caramel malt milkshape I’ve had from 15 different DQ’s in the state

Growing up in Fairfield County I was deprived of the grill and chill option of Dairy Queen so now I am pleasantly surprised I can find a town up here in midstate and grab a good burger on the fly

The A1 double stack bacon burger was absolutely fantastic pictures shall follow nice and juicy full of flavor not over bearing with the A1 steak sauce and the bacon was cooked perfectly awesome burger

The cheese curds also came out of the fire hot as hell served with marinara sauce on the side

they were fantastic right out of the machine just like you get them at the fair perfectly cooked

Dianne is available if you choose that option so is delivery and take out

I had the worst service tonight in the drive-through. My children were a little indecisive and when I got to the window I apologized, the young women looked at me and slammed the window in my face with no response. Next, she literally shoved our bags of food in my face and again slamming the window. She shoved the ice cream in my face as well. After receiving everything we had ordered, I asked her if everything was OK, she replied “yes, why” and slammed the window in my face again and proceeded to say something to the other staff members. This will be the last time I visit this DQ.

This cake was hard as rocks when we cut into it and it sat out for 30 minutes!!! The icing is awful and messed up so much how could you even sell this to someone! The chocolate center is garbage, almost tasted stale. The Manchester location is by far the best! Take the few extra minutes of travel to save yourself from this disaster!!!

I had an absolutely appalling experience at this Dairy Queen, and it all comes down to one person: Nathan John Oszurek. I don’t normally leave reviews, but what happened during my visit was so shockingly bad that I feel compelled to warn others.

First, when my friend ordered a Blizzard, Nathan John Oszurek flat-out refused to flip it upside down. He stared at us with a blank expression and muttered, “I don’t do that.” When we politely reminded him that Dairy Queen is known for flipping Blizzards, he scoffed and said, “Gravity works fine.”

The situation escalated from there. When we received our food, my fries were cold and soggy, and my burger was so overcooked it felt like biting into a hockey puck. When we asked for fresh fries, Nathan John Oszurek dramatically sighed, grabbed a handful of fries with his bare hand, and threw them into the fryer without even restarting the timer. He then dumped them in the bag without a word.

But the worst part? My friend accidentally dropped her cone, and when she asked if she could buy another, Nathan John Oszurek said, “Life’s tough,” and walked away.

The dining area was a disaster — tables covered in sticky residue, napkins strewn across the floor, and the trash bins overflowing. Nathan John Oszurek sat behind the counter watching videos on his phone while customers waited in line, completely ignoring them until someone loudly cleared their throat.

I genuinely don’t understand how this location stays in business with someone like Nathan John Oszurek representing the brand. His attitude was beyond rude, his service abysmal, and his complete disregard for basic food safety genuinely concerning. I love Dairy Queen, but I’ll never set foot in this location again.
