BBQ So Good, It’ll Make You Question Life Choices! Listen, I don’t know what kind of magic they’re working back in that kitchen, but The Smoking Pig might have just ruined all other BBQ for me. The pulled pork? Juicy, smoky, and melts in your mouth like a slow-cooked dream. The brisket? So tender, I’m convinced it was cooked by angels who specialize in Southern BBQ.
The whole place smells like happiness, and the food tastes even better. If you leave here hungry, that’s a you problem. The only downside? I now have an uncontrollable urge to compare every other meal to this one, and so far, nothing’s come close.
10/10, would eat again… and probably again after that.

Stopped in yesterday after taking mom to the fabric sale in Williamston. The food was fantastic and the service maybe a squeak better. We have a pulled pork and pulled chicken plate. Both were flavorful and the portions more than you can handle in one sitting. We both had cole slaw and baked beans. Those were just as outstanding. Will definitely visit next time we’re in town and might have to make a detour just to come though.

This was our first time here. The best brisket I’ve had by far! Tender and flavorful, salty crust. The chopped pork was also very tender with no need for sauce. The staff was very friendly, nice atmosphere. I would tone down the lights, just a bit too bright. That’s why I gave atmosphere a 4⭐️. We will make this a regular spot.

I love BBQ. I’ve been waiting to try them since I moved in the area but my schedule never allowed. I had time today.
I make my way to the door and someone is hanging on it. Not the restaurants fault. But I had to knock to get attention to let me in.
I haven’t been here before. People were in a line. I assumed to checkout. I made my way past the line and came upon a server. I asked her if I sat myself or if there was a stand. She looked at me and then turned around to continue her conversation.
So, I just went to a table and sat down. A server passed by me and greeted the table behind me. I figured someone would be to me soon so I continued to look around. That’s when I noticed a sign above the line people were standing in and realized that I had to place my order before sitting. Since I’ve never been here before, it would have been nice if the server I asked to have told me.
So, I get up and I go to the line. I look around for a menu and find a paper one. It’s just the bulk orders for family. I keep looking. I don’t know where to look. Eventually a couple moves over and I can see one stand with a full menu.
At this point, I’m just too annoyed. I left. All of this annoyance and confusion could have been avoided had the server I tried getting information from just replied instead of starring at me and then turning away.

If you find yourself in Williamston for some reason, this is where you want to eat. Great chopped pork plate with generous portions. Three sauces, mild (ketchup and vinegar base), medium (mustard and vinegar), medium spicy (vinegar and spices). Pork rinds served at table for only a $1 and are about as fresh as pork rinds get. The potato casserole was great. Fries were crispy outside and soft inside. Blackberry cobbler with ice cream was great (hint:you can get as one of your sides). Enjoy!

We were out exploring, and came upon this gem. We went with the chopped pork platter it came with two sides and a sweet role for $12.95. Our sides were sweet potato casserole which tasted devine!) and the baked beans. The beans had a distinct molasses flavor and were very sweet. Clean and neat restaurant. Booths and tables for seating. Extra parking in the back up a short steep incline. Great for serving a large group.

Stopped by last week to try the brisket and was not disappointed! I’ve tried nearly every BBQ joint in the upstate and would place the brisket at Smokin’ Pig easily in the top three. The customer service and atmosphere was also top notch, great place to stop by if you’re in the area or even worth the drive if you want a great BBQ experience.
