Got the gyro special. It was very good. Felt like a little New York hole in the wall. theres a few seats in there. The baklava was good. I thought it was a small piece but ended up being the perfect size after eating the gyro special.

I will never forget Teddy’s pizza. EVER! I am writing my review about an experience that I had when I was in elementary school. Over 30 years ago. I am 42 now. My mother, my brother and I lived right up the street. My mom would drive down here and go to the laundromat in the same strip as this restaurant and me and my brother would just sit in there and wait and be bored. One day we were very very hungry. We didn’t have much money and my mom was going to go home and fix dinner after we left the laundromat. Me and my brother were outside running around the front of the strip mall and decided to just walk into the pizza restaurant and look at the menu. I don’t know if it was the owner or an employee. But the man leans over-the-counter with 2 plates and two slices of pizza for me and my brother for free. We were so happy. We ran back and told my mom and we ate pizza for dinner that night. I remember it being so so good. I will forever be grateful. I will forever remember this place. Over 30 years later and I’m sitting here thinking about it now. It’s a part of my warm childhood memories. Teddy’s will always get a 10 out of 10 with me. Google doesn’t have enough stars to select to exhibit my appreciation for this establishment. I live in Charlotte now. But when I go to Raleigh. I will visit with my children. I was just telling them the story the other day.

7/16/2020 Update added pictures of menu and philly steak fries and Jamaican Beef patty with extra cheese. Was great again, always consistently great.
3/7/24 update: had the buffalo wings and Jamaican beef pies (these were great spicy and sweet type breading. Everything I have ever had has been great.

Oh my goodness! I tried a philly cheese steak from here and it was my favorite I’ve had in Raleigh! I thought it was weird, they asked if I wanted tomato and lettuce in it which isn’t typically in it. I also got a side of fries and they were melt in your mouth good! The service was also very friendly. The interior was pleasant but could be a bit bigger.

Seriously? How much is pepperoni these days? Gold or platinum? I would call this “pepperoni flavored” add $5 for actual pepperoni. Only ONE slice had three pepperoni slices! The rest were 1.6-2 actual slices of pepperoni. Your grandma D is embarrassed.

Ordered a beef pepperoni pizza and a Philly chicken combo. The fries were hot crispy and seasoned to perfection. I had asked for a little extra sauce on my pizza but they put light sauce instead so I called back and they were able to provide me a new pizza with the right amount of sauce at no extra charge. I have been coming to Teddy’s for over 15 years, this used to be my go-to spot for lunch when I was in high school.
