Friendly, fast service, good food. Stopped in for a quick breakfast while at work. Seated immediately. Madison was great and made sure I was good the whole time. Ordered the breakfast sandwich on rye and it was great.

Came for breakfast, the bartender with black hair bartending had an attitude like we were inconvenienced by coming here. Ordered steak and ordered it medium rare. She asked if I wanted the tips or filet. Ordered the filet. Not sure if she heard me or not but she then rudely asked again. Would not let me order without being interrupted. Steak was well done. She took the steak back and gave us a new one. The second one was even more cooked than the last. She proceeded to say “I’m not cooking it it’s not my fault, don’t take it out on me”. All I said was the steak was even more done. Another in our group asked about the food since they were in the bathroom and she goes “like I said before it’s all being remade”. Honestly I just wanted my food made right. The service was horrible. Will not be coming back here. Used to be a place our group would frequent. Very disappointed. Maybe she needs to be talked to.

Oh boy! I used to frequent this place with my grandma as a child and I loved it! It was filled with charm and character and a warmth you couldn’t find many other places. When she passed early last year I decided to revisit this place in honor of nostalgia and boy was I disappointed….this place was gutted of character and love. Gray floors….white walls….who thought this was a good idea. Sad to say I will not be returning here.

Came in for breakfast. No wait. Husband ordered steak & eggs- steak (med)was literally ‘blue’. Was seared on both sides and that was it. Assuming it was frozen as to why this happened. I ordered the bagel breakfast sandwich special with hashbrowns- Everything just tasted like oil and was hard to eat. Only made it through about half. The hash browns were cooked awesome- super crispy.

I had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious and huge. Couldn’t eat it all. The service was great. Its a small Cafe but comfortable. There is another side that I didn’t realize, that is the bar side. So you can have cocktails.

Years ago I would walk from the Marina to this place every sunday morning for probably 10 summers in a row. Hands down the best breakfast anywhere in the valley back then. Since the open more locations, it seems to be getting worse. Mostly the service. I had a bad experience last summer didn’t go back until tonight. Waitress was too busy singing then serving. Seemed a bit out of it truthfully. The chicken was great asked if they could Heat up the side dish which came out very cold. Took it away and never brought it back.
And never came back to check on us. 15 minutes later. I had to go in the kitchen to get a refill on my soda and asked for the side dish back. When she finally came out with it, we were done.And she blamed it on us for distracting her somehow VERY DISAPPOINTING!! probably won’t ever go back. IT’S A SHAM BECAUSE I REALLY USED TO LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

I ate breakfast at Not Justa Cafe. Nice atmosphere, friendly server and great value for food portion size. The special of the day was all you can eat French toast. The hash browns were perfectly crispy and eggs over easy cooked just right. The sausage patties were a bit rubbery, I suspect subpar-quality frozen patties. I’ll definitely come back in the summer, I noticed a very large patio when I was leaving.

I haven’t been here for many years, because I had moved. Back closer and I remember why I liked it. Best breakfast I’ve had while going out to eat. If you haven’t tried it, you should. Big portions, great tasting food, pleasant service. Finally, someone cooked my eggs the way I like them.
