It is probably one of the better hotel restaurants I’ve dined in. The soup was so-so. But the calamari I ordered was aesthetically beautiful and tasty. At a later time, I’ve came back here to order a hamburger (not pictured) and the burger was well made and the fries that came with it were heavenly! I would definitely come back to the Villa Palma hotel and eat at this restaurant again. It was probably one of the better priced restaurants in the old town area.

Lumiere in Casco Viejo transported me to France! The French onion soup and creme brulee were divine. The violin performance during dinner added to the ambiance. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable, helping me choose the perfect dishes. The restaurant’s charm and excellent food made for a memorable experience. Highly recommended for a taste of France in Panama!

This is a lovely restaurant with a very nice and refined vibe. I was exploring Casco Antiguo and wanted to stop here for a cocktail and a snack. I ordered a maracuyá (passionfruit) mojito and it was just lovely– made with fresh maracuyá, and they did not skimp on the alcohol. I also ordered the calimari, and it was very good. The service was exellent. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Service was great, food was average. We ordered the moules frites and steak frites. I would say it’s standard hotel fare.

Imitation doesn’t equal innovation!
It seems that LESSEP’S former kitchen assistant works there. They copied the menu exactly, down to the prices, and it’s easy to verify. This clearly demonstrates a lack of understanding of the importance of research and development to the bottom line, as creativity and innovation in food items are crucial to differentiating one concept from another. A restaurant should be in the creativity business, not the imitative business. If I can give one piece of advice, it would be: Begin planning your own menu because LESSEP’S is about to reopen, and you will be unable to compete.

Stopped by for breakfast. Eggs Benedict and the muffin was burned and the eggs overcooked so the yoke didn’t run. For all the options in this area you can find a better breakfast.

They don’t honor reservations and instead try to direct you to the bar (but no food is available at the bar).
