The restaurant was very clean. I was greeted as soon as I entered and questioned if they offered single to go plates. For $15 you get a to go box and two smaller cups to fill as much as you’d like; a very generous deal for that price. I was able to get a little bit of everything. If you eat inside it’s about $2 more for a drink.
The staff as well as the customers were polite. As someone with social anxiety, it was a very comfortable experience. The options are perfect for the area. The buffet menu changes daily and the options are really great.

I have four stars this time because there was no management or ownership helping.

This was our first time eating here and we will be back. The Buffet was delicious. Red beans and rice, fried and baked chicken, real mashed potatoes, and meatballs with gravy. They have a corn dish that was delicious and a green bean casserole that puts mine to shame. There’s a nice salad bar and a dessert bar too. Mom and I will be back and will bring friends. The service was great and they have soft music in the background from the 50’s making for a great atmosphere.

Rather it is dining in at their lunch buffet or using their catering services, everything is always top notch! Jason and his team are truly amazing hard workers that put their heart and sole into their business. Recently used them to cater a wedding and everything was perfect, from the planning to the food and service. I highly recommend eating at southern creations and using their catering service!

One word -BUFFET!!! Ok usually the means low quality flavorless barely warm food with few selections. Wrong, wrong, and wrong-o! I love a good buffet, and this place makes the cut in spades! Today’s menu included: beef teps and gravy(tender & flavorful), rice, salad bar, meatloaf (extremely edible), & FRIED CHICKEN! Admittedly I’ve never eaten fried chicken I didn’t like. Orka and tomatoes, petit beans, and cabbage rounded out the veggie options. There was always an ample amount of fresh food available. Oh and cornbread muffins, which I skipped so’s I could eat more FRIED CHICKEN. Do not skip the bread pudding and rum sauce! Only open for weekday lunches (great waves of sadness). Parking sucks, deal with it.

This. Place. Is. EVERYTHING. I cannot stress enough how WONDERFUL this place is. It’s only open for lunch and specific hours give off a bit of a fancy vibe to any restaurant, in my opinion. It wasn’t very crowded, the staff is SO friendly, and it’s all you can eat. The buffet is frequently refilled, so you are always getting warm, fresh food. Here’s the thing though…the food!! It’s SO delicious. If you need a, “home-cooked on a Sunday” type dinner…go here. If you are in Louisiana for that southern kitchen vibe….go here. If you miss your grandmother, because she made the best brisket, and you can’t be with her right now….go here. This place honestly makes you feel like your at home, and mom said, “Okay everyone! Time to eat, go fix your plate.” Just do yourself a favor, and go here.
