Maryann & Wanda’s is a fun place to eat breakfast on a weekend. We went in on a Sunday. We tried to go during the week but they don’t open till 11 AM weekdays. Apparently they can’t get Google to change their information online. I had the Trash Panda with the Farmer’s Market omelette fillings (spinach, onion, mushrooms, etc.). The Trash Panda has hash browns mixed in with 2 eggs & has ingredients from the omelette of your choice from the menu. I liked how the hash browns were a little crispy in places so it gave it a little extra flavor. The food was good & service was fast. Staff were friendly. The decor was fun. I liked the Cheshire Cat face with mirrors for eyes.
The restaurant name comes from a (formerly Dixie Chicks) song about two women who take care of a guy & bury the body. We met “Maryann” (not her real name). We were having trouble finding many local breakfast places that weren’t fast food – other than Cracker Barrel. Too bad they aren’t open weekdays.

Always a pleasure to visit these lovely people. From the time you walk in the door, to when you leave, they are always sweet. The food is always great as well! This time I got the “Sticky Fingers.” Absolutely did not disappoint.

Arrived around 8:30 am today (Saturday) with my young adult son. Cute little place with ample seating. We were waited on promptly. I ordered Plain Jane with eggs over medium well, stating I like only a tiny bit of yoke run, slice of fried bologna, watermelon, OJ and coffee. My son ordered biscuits and gravy. His was delicious. Coffee was great as was the OJ and watermelon. My plate was gross. I’ve attached 2 photos. Could not even eat it. Still paid full price because I did order it. Just shocked a breakfast cook doesn’t how to fry an egg as ordered or slice bologna and fry both sides. The waitress and hostess were both sweet. I won’t return but you may have a different experience if you decide to try them out.

Great place to eat. Breakfast is always delicious and the service is great. The atmosphere, albeit small, is very interesting and fun. Pricing is on the higher end of breakfast but you leave plenty full and satisfied and it’s not overly priced. Really enjoy going to this place as breakfast should always be enjoyed and the food they make is well worth the money spent. I would recommend Maryann and Wanda’s Eatery and plan to go back many times again.

What a great find while visiting Dickson! Great food, fast service, creative decor. Very inviting! I ordered coffee and slop. Delicious! It was about $16. Employees love their jobs and want to make sure everything is better than expected.

My husband and I decided to have lunch at Maryann & Wanda’s Eatery and it was truly exceptional. I asked them to surprise me with something they’d suggest and I was impressed by the generous portions and quality of the food. The chicken and dumplings were reminiscent of my mom’s cooking, and the goulash and mashed potatoes reminded me of Sunday dinners at my grandma’s house. And who can resist a delicious BLT?!? But adding an egg elevated it to new heights. The service was also outstanding our drinks were always full, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
Highly recommended checking them out! Next time I’m going to try their shakes!!!

What a gem!! This eatery is a must visit, a real country atmosphere, with good O’l southern hospitality. The staff were very friendly and funny. The food was extremely delicious . I had the Fresh Prince Philly and it was fabulous . We didn’t get to try any of the homemade milk shakes, but we will definitely be coming back to indulge. There were so many options and they all looked tasty! Even the local patrons were super friendly. I highly recommend stopping by if you are ever in the area, and give this place a taste!

Please read the key notes we have learned through trial & error that we want to let you know has resolved.
*Our Pepsi machine is brand new but could not seem to keep the cold plate cool enough to have the drink flavors not taste wonky, this was repaired by Pepsi today. We had no clue you have to keep the cool plate in the machine cool or it will taste flat.
*All 4 pastas are made fresh each morning at 8am and placed in our ovens to stay hot all day long. We will add cheese, sauce & spices and thru the day to freshen up just as any restaurant industry does. No oil or grease additives is included but what the ingredients may release once baked together.
* Catering side is different per event & request of the clients. Each dilemma or issue that day is revise & resolved without stressing the clients to improvise. We aim for satisfaction. All trial & error!
* Our shakes are made to order so each one is unique, if you prefer thick or thin, please let us know. We are happy to create according to your desire. 
* Cakes & Sweets are all custom orders with 2-3 weeks ahead of time notice for booking requested. WE WANT TO SAY YES TO ALL but we also still have our full careers as well plus other bookings. We want to ensure enough time juggling other orders that your design gets attention.
*Our staff is top notch with the best work ethic. We work daily to see what we can improve. Our staff steps up when we are not on site daily. Besides our staff, both Jessica & Tasha have full time outside careers in the healthcare industry. We are all human with crazy lives.
Finally, we are amazed at the outcome from what we our bringing to this community. Thank you for the friendships new & old thru Maryann & Wanda’s. We are blessed at what this is becoming & can’t wait to see what the future holds.

We had family in from out of town and brought them here for lunch. Just amazing!!! We were so full when we left. We had three take home boxes. We had the naked pork chops, with white beans and mashed potatoes. We had a broccoli cheddar soup (trees and cheese) and a grilled cheese sammich. Mama Mia sammich with sweet potato fries. A Philly cheese steak with sweet potato fries. Poppy seed chicken with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. All in all, just an amazing lunch. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves home cooking. The milk shakes are just amazing too!
