It is a very pricey restaurant and we expected an exceptional experience, therefore I’ve ordered the truffle tagliorini and the was not even a pinch of salt and the past was extremely oily and no taste of truffle. My husband ordered the pasta with sea food and his dish was much better.
I have complained about my dish and nothing was done – no discount, no changing my dish and we were told that “no salt” is the normal for this dish and they were sorry for the oily pasta and that’s it…it was totally tasteless! The waiter also forget to bring the drink and we had to remind them… overall it ruined such a special occasion and I don’t recommend specially because the experience does not match the price they charge. You can find better places in Vienna paying much less.
I was with my family on vacation in Vienna. And this is definitly a suggestion to go to eat
Thanks also to the owner of this restaurant that made sure we had a nice night!
Also the two waiters were very friendly, especially Andi.
My husband said I should had ordered also one, I said no, I just wanted a main dish but I didn’t know I had to wait two turns of starters, waiting barely 2 hours while everybody else is eating.
They said this is “the normal way” in a restaurant, that’s not truth, usually they ask me in which order I want my food, never in my life in any kind of restaurant they just left me waiting so long to eat, and this was a plate of 40€… I was so mad after waiting so long that I said I was leaving to eat a kebab or whatever in any other place. I don’t think this is a proper service, and the food is not really good, it doesn’t pay off the waste of time and money there.
Big advantage that it’s not large and in the heart of the city
As someone wearing a headscarf, I couldn’t help but feel that their behavior was rooted in discrimination. My name was clearly on the reservation list, yet we were refused a table without any valid explanation. When we asked why, they simply stated, “We just can’t accommodate you,” despite admitting that my reservation was there. To make matters worse, I witnessed the owner whispering something to the waiter, seemingly instructing them to get rid of us.
This experience was deeply upsetting and felt like blatant racism. No customer should ever be treated this way.
