The food was really good. Did not expect much from others reviews. It was Saturday and super busy about a 45 min wait but we found a table in the bar with no wait. The chips, salsa and cheese sauce were great. It’s very similar to the former restaurant Miguel’s. It’s a tad pricey but all restaurant prices have increased. The ambiance is lively and bar like, noisy but able to talk. It was fun would god back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars – Elevated Mexican + Margaritas Done Right!
Flecha was an absolute vibe from start to finish. We came in ready for happy hour and left fully convinced we need to return ASAP.
We tried several of their specialty and happy hour margaritas — every single one was delicious. They did lean a bit on the sweeter side, but honestly… no complaints when they taste that good.
Food was equally impressive. We ordered:
Carne asada street tacos (so flavorful!)
Chicken taquitos (crispy and perfect)
Guacamole dip
Aguachile (fresh, bright, and delicious)
Chips with salsa + queso dip (dangerously addictive)
Everything came out fresh and we were genuinely pleased with every bite.
The outdoor seating area is elevated and cozy — heaters AND a beautiful fireplace made it feel warm, comfortable, and honestly kind of fancy (but in the best way). Bonus points: pet friendly, which we love.
And a special shoutout to our server Shane — he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole evening feel special. The service was truly exceptional and honestly took the experience from great to wow.
If you want amazing drinks, great food, and an atmosphere that feels like a treat, Flecha is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here for dinner with my husband and it was a great experience. You’re greeted with complimentary margarita when you come in then a basket of chips with salsa and queso when you’re seated. The queso was so good. We got HH taquitos to share. I got carne Asada fajita. It was so good. my husband got the chipotle cream enchilada and that sauce was so good. I can drink that sauce, it was sooo good. I recommend this place

Just had an amazing experience at Flecha San Diego! The aesthetics are on point, and the food? Just as impressive! My sea bass was cooked to perfection, and my son loved the salmon. The ribs were a tad dry, but the sauce was delicious. And the chips and salsa? Absolutely addictive!

They’re clearly working through some new restaurant growing pains – a few tables weren’t cleaned and seemed a little short-staffed. But, I’m confident they’ll iron it out. The food is THAT good!

Seriously, that sea bass alone is worth the trip. I’ll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu! Highly recommend giving Flecha a try. #FlechaSanDiego #SanDiegoRestaurants #Foodie #SeaBass #SupportLocal #RestaurantReview

Our service was great. Our server Sebastian was on point! He was very attentive and kind from beginning to end. Our chips were never empty. Very impressed despite how busy the restaurant was.

I wish there was more seating in the happy hour as it was first come first serve in a specific area of the restaurant.

Nice ambiance and the food is decent. We were offered a complimentary margarita at the door. The food and vibe is bit reminiscent of the former restaurant, Miguel’s, that was here before. We tried the happy hour menu (tacos, goat cheese, flautas, quesadilla, taquitos).

Great drinks even better with happy hour prices and food is really good. If you like a bit a kick they have some dishes with pesto poblano sauce and it has the right amount of spice to it. El chapo is the best pork chop I’ve had

Flecha Cantina serves upscale Mexican food in a spacious, promising venue with an extensive bar. We visited during their soft opening and were impressed with the professional service.

The large appetizer sampler (nachos, quesadilla, taquitos) was presented beautifully on a big wood cutting board. However, the flavors didn’t quite match the impressive presentation. The best flavors came from the pico de gallo and pickled vegetables, which provided much-needed acid and spice.

A standout was the crispy calamari steaks. These were almost completely cut in half, coated in a tasty panko, coconut, and spice mix, then deep fried. They were tender, moist, and served with a nice spicy dipping sauce.

The aguachile ($26) featured fresh shrimp, cucumbers, avocados, and onions. While the texture was enjoyable, the flavor profile was a bit one-dimensional for the price.

The restaurant is great for small and large parties, and the free parking lot had plenty of spots. Juan and Joy shared their knowledge and provided professional, attentive service, which was appreciated. The happy hour menu appears to offer much better value.

Overall, a promising upscale Mexican spot best suited for hosting medium or large parties. To return here regularly given the relatively high price points, the core food quality would need a significant increase.
