Ordered this from door dash as a $12 meal deal and this was honestly the best chicken sandwich and fries I’ve had. The chicken is beautifully seasoned, the fries were warm and crisp. The packaging was good. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you so much.

I saw they won the best beef sandwich by WGN so I had to try. Good portion of meat. I prefer a few other spots better but Dukes is a solid sandwich if you’re in the area. I did a review for my YouTube channel “Mailman Nick”

Maybe it was because it was busy but It was just okay at best. Edible but not worth spending 34$ on a double cheeseburger, cheese burger, soggy fries, and whatever these cheese curds are.

I’m not going to post the other food, but this is supposed to be cheese curds….like what is this? I took it to go and didn’t have time to drive back and go back in.

When the Mokena location first opened, the beef was piled so high on the sandwich that I had to remove some just to close the bread. That’s no longer the case—and the price certainly hasn’t gone down. I still enjoyed the sandwich, but the pricing is getting out of hand. Charging $4.19 for a half fry (which is really just a small fry) is hard to justify when the portion is literally kid-sized. At this point, they either need to lower their prices or increase portion sizes. Spending $17 on a beef and fries and still being hungry isn’t a great experience.

I asked if they sold single hotdogs. The cashier said yes and charged me the two hotdog special and gave me one. Cold hard bun. What else do you expect from a gas station fast food I guess. Additionally, they have posted that it’s $3 to turn a sandwich into a meal but charged me $5. Don’t come here if you’re having a bad day, they will make it worse.

Came back to Duke’s roughly a year after it opened to give it another shot. The food seems completely different, in a much better way! The beef has flavor and the fries were hot, with a crunchy outside and a soft inside. My kids and I have returned an additional 4 times in the last two weeks.

Duke’s was one of my favorite jobs in high school and I remember it being a lot better. Fries felt like they were old and warm, absolutely no salt on them. Ordered a beef w/ moz dry and got it wet. Maybe it’s cause the place just opened up a few days ago and they don’t have everything down yet.. Not sure but I’ll give it another try a few weeks from now.

Dukes can make some of the best chcicago style beef sandwiches that you will ever find. Only downside is that taste/quality can be hit and miss. Not a big deal if it wasn’t close to $20 for a beef with mozzarella and peppers (no fries or drink). I would be willing to pay even more than that when it’s made well, but it can feel like a slap in the face when the quality isn’t there

Food is always cooked fresh. We haven’t tried anything from them that we don’t like. The crispy chicken sandwich is the best though. Their fries are nicely salted.

I don’t know what happened to the original workers from the old location that moved to the new location. They use to work at the new location and ever since they left the new location, the service is rude. I’m an original customer and it’s sad to see where this company is going. Dukes was known for their BBQ fries. We have gone back twice to try to order it again and they refuse to do it. When the original employees were there, they knew right away what we would ask for and didn’t question it. I have tried to talk to the new workers there now and have given us such a hard time. I don’t get what is so hard to put bbq on fries. It’s the service and unprofessionalism in response that we get. It’s so sad because so many original customers use to come to get it. Sad to see it go down the drain and will stop going there after trying multiple times.

Just went through the drive-thru. Ordered a beef and hot peppers. 1 car ahead of me waited 16 minutes for food. I live 2 minutes away. Once home opened the beef, what a joke cold maybe 2 ounces of beef on it. PLENTY of hot peppers. All I tasted was bread and hot peppers. Service is terrible!, no napkins. Maybe they ran out of beef. So for almost $12 I had the worst beef of my life. Do yourself a favor folks avoid this place. Vending machine food is better.
