The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff that made us feel right at home. Shortly after being seated, we were served chips topped with both yellow and white cheese, along with three different salsas. The cheesy chips were absolutely delicious. While the salsas were flavorful, they lacked any real heat.
We ordered the panchos and the American cheese enchiladas. The panchos were decent, but the standout dish was definitely the enchiladas — they were rich, flavorful, and perfectly paired with tasty rice and beans. Unfortunately, the fajitas were underwhelming and lacked seasoning; we had to add salt and salsa to bring them to life.
They also offer a variety of sweet breads, which looked tempting, but we were too full to try them. A nice bonus: they have daily specials that include tea or lemonade. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with a few highlights and some room for improvement.

Nice lunch place. Had the chicken chalupas. Star of the show is the queso/crema(?) on chips and trio of salsas while we waited for the chalupas. I was expecting a little heat in the salsas, but there was no heat, but they were so flavorful.
Ended our meal with capirotada, an interesting bread pudding full of peanuts, coconut, raisins, spices, syrup. It had been re-heated in the Styrofoam container, which I don’t think is a best practice.
I would like to try some breakfast options on my next visit.

We always have Rene’s on our short list of area places to eat. The cheese chips with 3 types of salsa when you sit down are a very nice touch. Chicken flautas and chorizo are excellent.

Good customer service, nice and polite employees. Food was reasonably priced and tasted good. I was not expecting complimentary nachos as an appetizer and three options of flavorful salsas, so that was a huge plus for me. Bakery was also reasonably priced, and the pastry I had was delicious.

Food was salty, service was HORRIBLE! I had asked for a child’s plate of enchiladas and I was brought out a reg. plate I asked the lady that I had ordered a child plate and she said we don’t have a child’s plate. waitress could have disclosed that when I was ordering. the waitress had an attitude while bringing the food out. for the 4 of us who were dining and we ordered 3 plates because my parents shared a plate of fajitas it came out to $59 for LUNCH! this will be last time we come! I disclosed the issues with the cashier and said they do not do child’s plate of enchiladas and I understand that but the waitress could have disclosed it and didn’t had she said it I would have ordered some smaller. I feel this was the worst exp I have had here I had come before and never had this issue. like I said last time we come to this restaurant

Absolutely delicious! I was not expecting such quality and flavor stepping inside this establishment! Great customer service, coupled with a vey unique taste of their food. Completely satisfied on my first visit! The first of many more to come! God’s blessings and grace over the owners and everyone who visits for a meal!
