Husband and I came in for our anniversary! Food was delicious. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We got the rack of lamb, butter chicken, garlic naan, cheese naan, and vegetable fried rice. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Ate here for the first time on Saturday and was very impressed! Elegantly styled restaurant inside, very clean and brightly lit, had music playing but not too loud so you could enjoy conversation. The service was quick and friendly and the food was fantastic. The portions are large and definitely shareable. Best samosas I’ve had! This is going to be a new favorite for me in Murfreesboro.

Had a wonderful dinner here with the family. The staff was very courteous and made us feel welcome immediately. The food came out hot and fresh, especially the Kadai Paneer which had that perfect smoky flavor. Definitely a new favorite spot for our weekend outings.

It’s a little shabby on the outside, but inside, it’s clean and pleasant. We got the white meat chicken tikka masala and the lamb tikka masala. It was so tender! The spices were good and service was a little slow, but only because it was one lady doing the to go and dining orders herself. The rice was not my favorite, but still good. We had a garlic naan, too, that was crisp, fluffy, and delicious!
They have a lunch buffet every day from 11-3 so we’ll definitely be back!

Beautifully done new restaurant. Wood tables with glass tops, cloth napkins, glasses, and crisp white plates. Stopped in for lunch and tried the buffet to be able to sample a wide variety. All in all it was good. For me personally I prefer quite a bit more spice and spices but it was tasty. I think the buffet is a nice safe place for newcomers to try Indian food for the first time. Next time I come I will order off the menu to spice things up. Great service and kind staff. I’ll be back.

I’ve been going to Clay Pit since I was like 10 years old (I think). I recently went again for the first time in years and although the location has changed and possibly even the people that own it, the food and service is still wonderful. My sister and I took my dad for his birthday a couple weeks ago because it used to be one of his favorite places back when. We went on a Sunday at around 1pm and had the buffet. It was all delicious. It was admittedly extremely slow when we went so, I can’t speak for the busier time (yet!), but the atmosphere was lovely and quiet. We stayed for a couple hours just hanging out and for most of it was just us 4. Will most definitely be going back!

Aloo Tikki: this is a veg dish but it’s made on the same oil where fish fried. We can taste it (3 star for this)

Mango custard: Right sweet and nicely made
Tomato soup: a must try with right balance of sourness
Garlic Naan: one of the good naan made fresh for buffet
Tandoori chicken: tender and tasty
Chicken tikka masala: chicken is hard and taste was okie
Chicken vindaloo: less salt but chicken was tender
Salad bar: carrots were old and no vegetables or onion or raitha there to compliment with food
Ambience was okie to visit and seating is good.

The food is so good, you can taste all 5 flavor profiles in every bite you take. The service was amazing as well! The workers are very attentive to you whenever you need. The atmosphere is beautiful aswell, this is a perfect place to have a date with your significant other. The prices are awesome aswell.
