Great atmosphere, friendly staff. They treat you like they are happy you are there. They have good tasting Root Beer and Pepsi and also a full bar. The salads are small and large, but the small is enough for two and maybe 4. It’s very clean and has an indoor patio area for large groups or busy times. Was surprised when instead of simply brushing off the table cloths, they actually replace them after each seating, so everyone gets a clean table. We had the 12 inch Calzone, was tasty and filling.

I really loved the New York vibes of this place. Good eats, although my friend’s calzone looked brown-almost blackened on the outside. I asked for triple mushrooms… Definitely didn’t feel like they delivered on it. The kitchen was still kind of stingy. However, the waitress was super friendly and I didn’t ask for them to make it right, so it obviously wasn’t that huge of an issue to me I guess. All in all, I’d give this place another shot. The crust was nice–thin but not overly crispy. Not greasy at all!

The light cascading through colorful repurposed wine bottles was slightly ethereal and created a warmly festive atmosphere. The cloth napkins and table coverings made the experience feel upscale and well appointed. The subtle black and white photographs adorning the walls captured the essence of what it means to be a pizzeria and harkened back to the original shop in Brooklyn, NY. The warm scents of hot honey and charcoal wafting lazily from the open kitchen brick oven, were giving subtle homey vibes and made the whole experience relaxing — almost like when you go back home after being away for a long time. This is not just a great restaurant, it’s an experience worth revisiting again and again. Try it, you will not be disappointed, not in the least.

We ordered the Extra Pepperoni and hot honey pizza and we added olives. We also each ordered a salad, the
mediterranean and Caesar respectively. They were both equally delicious. I could go into further detail about how wonderfully the pizza folded into a beautiful u-shaped spicy pieces of heaven, or how the pizza artisans displaced their craft as they expertly threw circles of dough high into the air, or how the subtle mix of classics from Sinatra and the like only added to the curated experience but I think I would rather leave you wanting to explore this hidden gem for yourself.

The pizza was quite tasty and the service and environment were good. The price is extreme. $29 for a small pizza? I felt guilty after eating lunch as i could have cooked a gourmet meal at home for two. It was tasty, the sauce fresh with appropriate spice and the meat delicious. Sadly, I won’t be back. The appetizer was free for signing up to the app on the first visit. My meal would have been $39 without the app.

Yesterday was the first time I have ever ordered purchased from your restaurant. I ordered a large pizza, the antipasto appetizer and cheesecake. It was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. I threw most of it away. My best friend picked up lunch for us on her way in to work a half day. I ordered and paid for it and she picked it up. We both agreed that it was awful. The pizza was rubbery and had something hard in there. There was a piece that was so hard that I thought part of my tooth had chipped off and that’s what I was chewing on but it wasn’t. The crust from the cheesecake was super soggy and wet. The antipasto had a ton of red peppers and everything in there was sitting in a wet juice. It was just the worst experience I’ve ever had, picking up food. I was very very disappointed. It was a very expensive mistake.

Wichita’s coal-fired brick oven pizzeria, at 13th and Webb, and in the parking lot with Whole Foods. My first pizza from here was a remarkable plain cheese pie, with their exceptional sauce and perfect crispy crust both being some of the best I’ve had in town. However, my latest trip was for the Margherita Pizza and it was one extremely saucy mess. The pepperoni and cheese were premium quality, but even with a requested extra-crispy bake, the pizza was drowned by sauce so much that it was a huge letdown. So for now the location has lost it’s top rating from me but there is still plenty to like here such as their stylish but casual dining area and patio, their courteous and professional staff, and that amazingly appetizing aroma from coal-fired baking. I recommend giving this place a shot when out by the Waterfront of Wichita.

Finally made it to the new pizza place in town Grimaldi’s and was not disappointed. Very relaxed inviting atmosphere and the waitress just put it over the top she was amazing. Tried the 16 inch “Don” which we both liked and was big enough to take some home for later. You can also start with a basic pizza and make it your way with plenty of choices. Now this isn’t your standard pizza you can get for $8.99 at some little pizza place but a hand tossed creation of
goodness so expect to pay a little more.

Food was very good! Pepperoni hot honey is amazing. Also they give your kids dough to play with to keep them busy before their food comes out.

We went during opening week for lunch. There was not too long of a wait. My boyfriend and I shared a salad and a 16in build your own pizza. Pizza was delicious! Atmosphere was nice and chill. It was just an expensive lunch. We will be back but it’ll be more on a night we want to splurge a bit.

The pizza is good. Maybe I’d need to try a few more options to find one I could call great. But with the price of these pizzas, I’ll have to save up some money so i can afford another one. The most I’ve ever spent on pizza for sure. Like I said, it’s good, but not that good.
