Stopped in today. Never tried trini food before and my mind was blown away! Food was 1000/10 and customer service was just so comforting! I will be going back for sure! I got the doubles and bonless chicken roti and Solo Cream Soda!

First time in the Fort Pierce area and wanted to try out some good Caribbean food so I found Calypso Cuisine and decided to try out the curry chicken roti and it was delicious! Nice and spicy and flavorful and very very filling. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Came here for dinner with a couple friends after work and it turned out to be a nice little spot. The place isn’t huge but it has a cozy feel to it. Our server was friendly and checked on us a few times without being pushy. I ordered a burger with fries and it was pretty good, maybe a little salty but still tasty. My friend got pasta and said she liked it alot. Food took a bit longer than expected but nothing too crazy. Prices seemed fair for the area. Overall a good casual place to grab a meal, I’d probly come back again.

Calypso Cuisine was an amazing find when we were looking for halal spots around Stuart. We opted to make the drive up to Ft. Pierce and it was well worth the drive. All of the items were flavorful and fresh. The best thing on the menu though was by far the Oxtail Stew with rice. The beef patties are also homemade and you can taste the difference between a store bought patty. The pepper sauce is really hot so try a little bit before adding it to the whole meal.

The service was impeccable. The gentleman at the front was patient and helpful with our large party and big order. He even gave some good recommendations. I will definitely swing back by this place next time I’m in the area.

Calypso Cuisine is a hidden gem for Caribbean food lovers. This small Trini restaurant might look like a hole in the wall, but don’t judge a book by its cover!

We tried a bunch of dishes: duck curry, goat curry, oxtail, doubles, and soup. Everything was packed with flavor! The oxtail was a standout – tender and not too sweet like some places make it. The curries were rich and tasty, and the doubles (if you’ve never had them, they’re like little flatbreads with chickpea curry) were a great side. All the food tasted fresh and homemade.

The best part is the service which was top-notch. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. He was happy to explain dishes we weren’t familiar with. The place is small and simple, but clean and cozy.

Calypso Cuisine in Fort Pierce is a hidden gem for authentic Caribbean flavors! I had the pleasure of dining there with my family and was thoroughly impressed. The curry chicken was rich and flavorful, paired perfectly with a buss up shot. We also tried the doubles, which were deliciously spiced and hit the spot. The service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. If you’re craving quality Caribbean food with great service, this place is definitely worth a visit!

So glad this family moved here. The food is flavorful & the owners were friendly & personable. Coming from Miami & NY we miss our different cultural foods. My husband has been looking for good Trini food closer than Miami & Orlando for years & we are so glad he found it here! Everything we ordered tasted homemade. I love the bake & saltfish, buss up shut, doubles & sorrel. He had the goat roti & shrimp doubles. All good! We will definitely be back again & bringing friends. Thank you for caring about your business & sharing good food!

Calypso Cuisine moves up the list of Top Five Restaurants On The Treasure Coast to number three in the 2025-2026 edition, up from number five in the 2023-2024 edition; I am the food reviewer for both editions. Offering authentic food from the rich culture of the island of Trinidad, their food is very delicious, and always consistent, because Head Chef Savi prepares each dish. The goat curry is excellent, and a bit different than its cousins in Jamaican and Indian cuisine, in that it has a special mix of peppers in it that are unique and tasty. The option to have pumpkin on the side is the perfect sweet complement to the spiciness of the curry, and the way the pumpkin tastes with the curry is far better than one would expect from any previous experiences eating pumpkin. I always order my goat curry with a double side of pumpkin, and the basam chaat roti bread, which comes with it (although you have to specify that you want roti bread, when asked, and the type from the two choices available); the fresh house-made roti bread comes out so delicious, and even better when you dip it in the curry, as well as offering another balance to the spice. The only possible area of improvement would be if there were even more pumpkin. While the dish is spicy, the mix of peppers has serious healing properties; in my experience, it clears sinuses whenever congested, and once cleared an ear clog from swimming that lasted several days and seemed that it would require a trip to the doctor to clear. The restaurant does not have servers, and food is picked up at the counter. Improvements since our last edition are that the television was off, and the pop music was replaced by authentic music from Trinidad, but the volume could still be a bit lower.

Owner Spotlight: Chef Savi and Chef Shane own the restaurant, and operate it with their son. While Chef Shane makes the roti bread daily, Chef Savi makes everything else.

Food: 4.9
Medicinal: 5.0
Atmosphere: 4.2
Overall: 4.7

(The service category is not applicable as this is an order-and-pick-up at the counter restaurant, and therefore there are no servers to assess on their service quality)
