This place use to be the old Hygeia. We use to come when I was a kid. Still the same but they have added a few food items. Everyday they have a special and Friday special is $5.99 burger combo at chips n a drink and $3.99 milk shakes. There was along wait to get order and another while to make it but there was only one girl that was doing everything. Poor girl was running around being waitress/ cashier/ making all the orders. They need extra people to help but I didn’t mind the wait. Everything was great. Thank you for keeping this ice cream shop open still.

This is the most adorable ice cream shop in Harlingen! It was such a pleasant experience to stop by and enjoy some ice cream or even some food. I would highly recommend it to those who have toddlers, kids, or even for a cute date night. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely.

They have food too. But they have milkshakes, banana splits, and sundae’s. I had a butterscotch and fudge sundae. My friend got Lauren’s sundae. I loved both of them. I will be going more frequently.

We had a great experience for my first time trying the Scoop! Awesome to have a Blue Bell ice scream parlor. The banana splits were loaded and well worth the price to have so many flavors and toppings on hand. Highly recommend.

This is an okay place for ice cream. It was not busy at all and the ice cream was grocery store grade. Sundaes were tasty though and staff was pleasant and helpful.
