Everything we ordered was AMAZING! This has to be one of the best spots in all of Myrtle Beach.

We got the shrimp nacho appetizer 11/10, next time I’ll be asking for extra shrimp! This would be good even on its own, it’s a large size and could feed two people for a light lunch.

Blackened fish tacos with Cole slaw 9/10, next time I’ll be asking for extra crispy on the fish.

Cowboy burger with French fries 7/10, the patty was just a little on the dry side but the fries were top tier!

The only thing I could be picky about was our entrees came out a little too quickly as we had just gotten our appetizers only a couple minutes before.

They have themed nights, live music, and more.

I can confidently say I will definitely be back.

Its rare today when you find a place that has good food, at a good price with good portions and good service. I am visiting family who live pretty close to this place. They said its their go to spot and I can see why. As stated above, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. I really enjoyed the shrimp nachos. The services staff was very friendly and accommodating and on top of everything. In a world where a lot of restaurants have used inflation as an excuse to drive prices up past reasonable, Boathouse stands out as keeping it sane.

The food was phenomenal. I had the fried oysters and they were plump and large and fried to perfection. My husband had the duck BLT and said it was also delicious

Went here for the 1st time on Friday August 29th 2025 with my parents, aunt and friends. This is a nice restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is covered, so it is comfortable especially since it was sunny and warm that day. Oh and they also had a free band that night too, and after we ate, we watched the band for a little while. Although fair warning, band nights seem to get crowded, and was getting squished alot inside. Anyways back to our food experience. We sat ourselves at a high top under the patio. We had a nice view of the intercoastal water in front of us. Server was female and was great, explained drink options as well as food options. This has your typical bar food type fair. We started with waters and some drinks. They had an orange crush in which i ordered, and my mom ordered a lime crush, other people got drinks too, but can’t remember exactly what- although i know they all enjoyed them. We also ordered some appetizers such as the chicken balls, and boneless wings, and spicy shrimp- which were all delicious! Food also came out in a timely manner. For entree, I ordered the fish and chips. Someone else ordered the same thing. Then we ordered sandwiches and burgers. I enjoyed my fish and chips, and the fish was nice and tender, and the fries were good too. the other people also seemed to enjoy their food. Server did separate checks for us- and made sure that each check was accurate. Oh and they don’t take discover credit cards. We paid the bill and left a cash tip. We hope to be back soon! and for music too!

Stopped in for a late lunch. Such a great spot. Sat out on the patio and it was great! Had the fish and chips, blackened shrimp nachos and a couple drinks. Food and service were both amazing. Definitely would recommend. They also have live music most nights as well.

Our first visit was a great one! Our waitress, Adriana, was prompt and gave exceptional service. The food came back and was delicious. We start off with the Chicken Big Balls…. My wife got the Blackened Shrimp Nachos, I had the Blackened Fish Tacos. Will definitely go back!

The fried ribs were absolutely divine, bursting with flavor and perfectly crispy. The service was attentive and welcoming, making our experience even more enjoyable. Sitting by the water offered a picturesque view that made the whole evening feel special. I’m eagerly anticipating my next visit, especially for the live music that promises to add an exciting atmosphere to the setting.

A terrible day to visit… pouring rain!!!! But, we had a great experience! Good food, good service from Tina, nice outside seating-even in the rain! I’m sure this place can get busy while in season and holding concerts outside!!

**After several trips here we continue to find friendly folks.
Wings are 6/10.
Nachos and sandwiches are great.
