First time ordering from here. The pizza sauce is phenomenal. Cooked perfectly and great service- true to their word. The overall taste of the pizza was so good. And the women who took my payment was very kind. I’m glad this pizza place exists. I’ll definitely be back!

I called and placed an order for delivery and the young lady who took my order was very friendly, helpful, and had a pleasant tone. The food arrived fast and it was still hot. We got a large sausage mushroom onion, a small cheese and sausage, and bosco sticks. This was my first time ordering from here, and I can safely say the pizza was really good!! I would order pizza from here again the next time we’re in the area, but probably not the bosco sticks.

Primos has offered us excellent food and service a number of times. Food is served hot and is reasonably priced. Eggplant parmesan was served with a fresh salad and a generous portion of fresh bread. All was fresh. Flavors and textures were perfect. We also recommend the burgers and pizza. Everything is good here!

Wanted to try the lasagna but they had sold out. We had the deep dish pizza and Bosco sticks, both were pretty good, we will try the regular crust pizza next time and hopefully some lasagna.

Ordered extra large thin crust for delivery. They have green olives I chose & pepperoni. (A pizza joint without green olives or garlic is bogus). Love the seasonings as this Italian likes extra . Sauce was on the sweet side but plenty of it as i like it . They don’t skimp on cheese or toppings. The crust was not crispy at all but done and an extra large thin crust is a challenge even for the best pie chefs. Price was right & delivered from phone order to mouths in 20 minutes .

I’m being generous giving the food lately 2 stars. We used to order from here once a week and the food was always excellent, and worth waiting for. The delivery guy is always nice and I’ve never had bad phone service. We’ve ordered everything, from pasta, to apps and of course, always get a pizza. The last few times we’ve ordered however, I was embarrassed by the quality. It’s slowly gone downhill and we found ourselves ordering less often over time. I’m not sure if owners changed or what, but they’re using cheaper ingredients. This last time we ordered the chicken Alfredo, which has always been a favorite in my house. What we got was soggy noodles, with almost 0 sauce and nasty frozen spongey chicken. It used to be good quality fresh chicken, why did you change it? I’d rather pay more for better if it’s a price thing, and be told they’re running out of sauce so I can get something else. They also split what looked like one dish worth of chicken between two dishes, which hasn’t happened to us before to be fair. Barely any sauce on the pizza, and it was burnt. Its not the first time as of late that they skimped on sauce for our pasta to the point it was actually dry and gross. My dad actually said he’d rather have McDonald’s and not to order him food from primos anymore. I’m not a picky eater at all and I agree with him. I’m so sad they’ve changed, it used to be our favorite spot.

I have been eating at Primos Pizza for almost a decade and I still love their pizza. My personal favorite is a stuffed pizza (a pizza “pie”) and it will feed you for days! My photo is of an extra large stuffed pizza. Happy eating!

Strange behavior from one of the guys that works here. Normally, Rockford, in general, and any place I have visited has stellar service. I hope this is an anomaly.
The establishment got my order wrong, and I was happy to wait for the new and correct pizza to be made. I was polite and respectful, explaining that I had been given the wrong order. I waited the alotted time, and whilst waiting, one of the men asked if the old and wrong pizza had been leaning on my seat. I stated yes, and he kept insisting I shouldn’t do that. I thanked him for his advice. When I took the new pizza to my car, I placed the pizza at an angle due to my car being packed with items. This guy came to the window to watch me, and I gave the thumbs up to indicate it was OK that my pizza was at an angle (I dont mind sideways pizza). He proceeds to follow me out to my vehicle to reprimand me for the pizza being at an angle. I stated it was fine, but he kept insisting. I explained that my vehicle is packed, sir, and I have nowhere else to put it. He finally walked away.
Although the food is good, it is not good enough for me to be reprimanded and followed. I wish their business well, and hopefully, this is not a reoccurring issue. I felt unsafe and will not be returning.

I’m picky with pizza and this hits just right, I’ve told people about this place and they give me feedback that they’re so appreciative that I told them about primos.

I’m a young Rockford native on a mission to find the best pizza in Rockford. For my experiment, I’ll be getting a plain cheese pizza from every place to be unbiased.
Primo’s has been one of my favorite places I have tried so far. The cheese was very tasty and the herbs on top really helped the pizza shine. The crust was a bit crunchy on the exterior and soft on the interior, very good for those who prefer harder crust. The sauce was excellent, a good balance of zesty and sweet, the sweetness really helped the pizza stand out among the others.
Overall, Primo’s is a very solid pick for pizza, and at 12$ for a Large pizza, easy on the pockets.
