This place definitely gives you the feel of a Chinese buffet with the semi-clean floors and windows. Minimal table service.

The food is decent and hot if it’s just been put out. Most of the chicken dishes are quite good, but a lot of the appetizers like the spring rolls and onion rings taste like they’ve been out all day and have lost their crunch.

However, great value for the money and a great experience if you’re looking for a Chinese buffet.

Food were surprisingly good and varied for the price ($13 for dinner). Also very basic setting though so don’t expect table services: go to food counters, fill up plates, come back to table, eat, set aside emptied plates, go grab more food, rinse and repeat until full. Compared to NoVA, this place is definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and want Chinese dishes. Hostess/Manager/Cashier/Chef lady was willing to help. The fried rice actually tasted like fried rice even if it’s, well, mostly rice; unlike most places where it’s just oily or soggy.

One of the better buffets I’ve been to, our host seated us quickly and told us where everything was. The buffet itself had 4 islands with a nice variety of standard fare, but it was all relatively fresh and good tasting, not soggy or stale. They even had fortunate cookies on the buffet, which is a huge bonus for me. A Really nice place that I think you’ll enjoy

Lunch buffet cost is very reasonable at $8.95, including unlimited beverages.

The service is minimal, server showed me to a table. That’s it.

I had to grab my own drinks or extra utensils and napkins. Plates piled up on tables until they were cleared after guests left.

The unlimited beverages, soda fountain located towards front of restaurant.
Unfortunately, it tasted as they hadn’t cleaned it in a while, the sodas themselves were noticeably watered down.

The food was mediocre and highly salted. The dumplings were dry, the sweet and sour sauce tasted more like ketchup, the meats were low quality. I more than once had to sneak a chewy piece or cartilage from my mouth into a napkin.

The dining room itself felt dirty. The carpet was highly stained, my table didn’t appear to be wiped down before I was seated. The decor was old and worn. My impression was that of a restaurant on its last legs.

I got a cockroach in my food, I’m very sad that it was my favorite place.
I feel really disgusted that I was almost finishing my meal and my co-workers who were also eating the same thing simply stopped eating. I went back to the restaurant asking for my money and they didn’t give me anything back. The girl argued that I had already finished my meal. I told her. Yes, but I had a cockroach, I didn’t pay attention and I better left…

The food is ok not amazing but enough to satisfy your Chinese cravings. We were passing through and decided to stop by. The reviews on here is not all wrong the building definitely need updating but the food is good. You do have to get your own drinks here but I’m used to self-service anyway. When you need it, fill up your own drinks. Ready to leave? Go to the register to pay. Fyi, there is no ice cream or sushi here but all you can eat buffet and drink!

Great Pork Lo Mein!! The buffet looks really good but I haven’t had it… yet. This is my favorite spot for Chinese food in Lexington. Although, I haven’t had any anywhere else in Virginia.

Friendly service. Great food. Buffet stays filled with fresh food. Reasonable price.

Just went there and price increased substantially. I was told it is because it has seafood. The buffet was exactly the same as it has always been for lunch. Only seafood is small shrimp in stir fry and little crab in crab Rangoon. Price to go for small portion of stir fry and crab Rangoon, with five small pieces honey chicken and little rice was $19.68. Be sure you know the cost before you get your food unless you can pay whatever with no problem. The normal price when I got the same take out from buffet was
between $7-10.
