I had a really disappointing experience at Aloha Salads. My husband and I spent about $45 on two salads and even tipped the staff on top of that, expecting a pleasant dinner. We arrived around 7:30 PM, and our salads didn’t come out until about 15 minutes later. We started eating right away, but shortly after that the staff began rushing us out because they close at 8:00.
Before we could even finish our meals, the staff started sweeping and stacking chairs right next to us. It felt incredibly rude and uncomfortable, especially considering we had just paid a fairly high price for what was supposed to be a relaxed dinner. The young women working there made it very clear they wanted us gone immediately, even though we were still eating.
What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing them turn away several customers who came in after us, despite it still being before closing time. It left a really bad impression.
People work hard to earn the money they spend on dinner, and it’s disappointing to be treated like an inconvenience after paying and tipping. Unfortunately, this experience made us feel rushed, unwelcome, and not valued as customers.

The food is simple and clean tasting. Been here about four times in total, and all experiences with staff have been odd. The only way to describe it is that they treat me like they know me and have a personal issue with me. Especially the cashier. After tonight, I won’t return.

My husband got the seared ahi salad. He loved it. I got the southwestern bowl and added chicken for an extra $4.99. The veggies were fresh, but the rice was undercooked and hard. It was very difficult to enjoy my bowl. I let the staff know so they could make sure the rice was cooked before serving another customer. I don’t plan to visit again anytime soon.

Food is great, but price is high. They used to be reasonably priced and offered combos. Everything is Ala carte now, so the value for the amount you get is not competitive- especially since there is a subway next door. For just 2 of us, we spent $50 for a sandwich, soup and drink. Only will be back if I’m craving.

Best salad I’ve ever had! I got the Mediterranean and added gyro meat to it. It was huge and packed with fresh vegetables. 100% recommend checking them out in Kapolei.

One if my favorite places to go. It’s been awhile since we stop in to dine. As always fresh and delicious! They have added a plant based menu, info available online.

Great food and wonderful, friendly, always smiling staff. Quite costly though. For 3 of us on this visit, it was $123+. Still recommend it.

A gem of a lunch stop that could be truly great with a bit more polish. First, the positives: fresh and local ingredients; creative dishes; friendly staff; and a solid value (especially the kids combo meal). But … large disparity between the small and large sized portions. Going big really pays off and leaves the little size looking puny. Speaking of puny, they go light on the protein – only two shrimp on the spinach salad and barely there chicken on the beet salad. But my biggest recommendation is to properly toss the salad. They build a pretty looking one, but leave it to you to mix in the dressing and ingredients. Mix that up for me, mahalo! For real. Still, looking forward to returning.

Very friendly staff, fresh ingredients, nice little place making use of their limited space with indoor and outdoor dining with a loft area as well for dining in.
