Pineapple Express was born out of a desire to feed and nourish people-not just their bodies, but their souls as well. Chef/Owner Codi Nishimoto’s love for food and feeding people is rivaled only by her love of the islands. She is Hawaii born and raised, with a long and deep connection to the islands. These deep roots are what inspired Pineapple Express and all the dishes set forth. Aloha is a way of life. It encompasses so much more than expressing love or greeting someone. Aloha, simply put, is joyfully sharing life-with each other, with everything. Our goal is to spread the aloha, one plate lunch at a time. For us, food has always made a bad day better and turned frowns into smiles. We hope our food will do the same for you.

First time having Pineapple Express food. I walked in the establishment, the ambiance was calm with some background music, it was clean, bright and cute. They even had a little swing in the corner that I bee lined to after I was helped by a kind & friendly gentleman who took my order. He advised it woukd be about a 10min wait and it was a 10 min wait.
I ordered the garlic chicken spicy with Mac salad. I was gonna wait until I got back to work to eat lunch but that smell had me in a choke hold. I opened my to go container and popped a piece of chicken in my mouth and when I tell you my mouth watered as I was eating, I mean it! The texture of chicken had its structure but was so tender and juicy. Then you have the sauce with garlic which was heaven. Followed by some heat that truly compliments the food, it doesn’t envelope your whole mouth and make you breathe fire. I continueeating, I’m in heaven, I ate a bit a rice and with my chicken and the food was immediately elevated the experience. Who knew plain rice could dress up seasoned chicken . Then you add a bite of that Mac salad. It has its own flavor and idk why I cant pin point what they use but its unique to Pineapple Express and worthy of having 2 scoops per plate. Im craving it today. Worth the experience and money for what you get! What are you waiting for, go order today!

I got the Chicken Katsu plate with extra rice and fries. The food was very very good – and I ate the entire massive plate with ease. The restaurant itself was very packed and not a lot of room within. We noticed ants in the restaurant and many areas looked like they could use a good cleaning.
Would 100% recommend if you’re in the area! Room for growth in cleanliness and ambiance, but their menu is standout nonetheless.
