We ate there today. We had been once before when they first opened and they were just getting started. Saw they had picked it up so decided to try again. We had awesome bartender/waitress. We started with crab claws. Here is my only sore spot.. you get about 20 of the tiniest crab claws ever and not much seasoning. But we moved on to gumbo and bread which was awesome! Husband had the best catfish and fries and i had the shrimp boil which was perfect! We brought home some of the best chicken tenders ever! Again fries and jack’s sauce to die for! We will come back just skipping crab claws.

My wife and I were in town and were unsure of where we wanted to grab a bite. We happened upon this place, and I must say, it is genuinely one of the finest places to eat in the state. I would even venture to say it is among some of the the best in the country. Having traveled all over the nation, I can attest that this place is a true gem. Oh and the individual managing this spot is incredibly genuine sorry im pretty bad at remembering names but thank you for the amazing service brother. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend taking the time to dine here; you will not be disappointed!!

I have enjoyed eating at this wonderful place since it opened. Born and raised not far from New Orleans. The gumbo here and all of the food is top-notch stopped in today to buy a gallon of gumbo to take home. It’s worth it. You can freeze it for months and it’ll still be delicious later. Give them a shot. You won’t regret it.

Can I give 6 stars? This place is so good. The guy running it is amazing. The gumbo was so good. The boudin balls were so good. Do not be afraid to get a half muffuletta, we took half of that half home! We travel the country full-time and love finding places like this. We went twice during the week we were in the area.

We ate lunch here today. I really wanted some crawfish, but due to cold temps, they didn’t have any. ( I really hate cold weather). With that said, we went anyway. I tried the Grandma Sullivan’s Seafood Gumbo. It was So GOOD!!! I had the bowl, with bread. On a cold day, it hit the spot!!!! Im trying to try something different on the menu ( except crawfish, there’s are perfect) everytime I visit. So far, they are batting 1000!!! Next visit ( did I mention except if they have crawfish), I am thinking either oysters or maybe a basket!!! We will see.

Tried another Cajun restaurant and was not disappointed. Had the Shrimp Poboy with a beverage and tasted awesome. Waiting to hear from my on her Roast Beef Poboy and Bignet. We’ll be back to try some other Na Orleans flavors.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Cajun restaurant. I’ve been to the ones in Chelsea and on Valleydale Road when they were open. I was so sad when those locations closed down in 2022 but was over joyed with finding out this location was still open. So thank GOD got that! So, instead of describing why you need to come here, just go and experience it for yourselves because I won’t doubt that they will exceed their food and service expectations because it’s never a fail for our family.

Took a chance on this place for takeout tonight. Honestly, I have been disappointed with other Cajun restaurants in the area. After finding this one, there is no reason to try the others anymore. Ordered blackened redfish, shrimp, catfish, oysters and alligator bites. Three of us tried the gumbo. All of it was outstanding. Food was cooked beautifully and seasoned well. The staff we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. Could not ask for better.

Stopped in for a quick lunch after getting my Vespa serviced nearby. Great laid-back atmosphere, and the owner is very friendly. Wings were generously sized and priced. Great flavors and the right amount of crispy. Food came out quickly and tasted fresh. Looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu.
