Don’t worry about having to be a seasoned DnD player as they have people ready and excited to teach you how to play if you need help!
Food wise: Dirty 20 has the best mac and cheese ever as well as delicious cocktails and cocktails!
I can’t wait to come back! You should def check this place out if you’re looking for fun table games to play with friends and family. Support local!
I recommend the Mana Margarita cocktail, Rolling for Mac – letting the dice decide your Mac and Cheese toppings for you – and whatever the Seasonal Cheesecake is at the time
The food has a specific focus and if you jive with that you are well covered, if not it’s a not cheap hit and miss but between the appetizers and Mac and cheese is lot of comfort food with unique diverse flavor twists. They could add simple profit items like PB&J but it has a style.
The service is enthusiastic, fun, happy and easily distracted leaving you waiting for long swaths of time between taking an order, or getting a refill but when they do come it’s with a heartfelt apology and a fun excuse.
The decor is college town low budget and could be so much more customized to the brand with very little budget but till then it is a bit of an afterthought.
With multiple weekday events and meetups this is a great space that can only get way better with time and fans as the word gets out. If you are a gamer in the county it is an absolute must visit.
Excellent food, great atmosphere, quick service and friendly staff!
The atmosphere was friendly and perfect for playing games or catching up, and there’s plenty of space so it did not feel too crowded or loud. The only caveat I would give is geared more towards being a hangout spot than a place to get a quick dinner. Food took a bit, but that was perfect for our table, and I think maybe they were just reading the vibes my friend and I were giving out. In other words, it felt perfect for exactly what this bar is meant to be– a hangout spot and place to play ttrpg’s or tabletop games.
The drinks and appetizers were really tasty as well, and the menu was almost overwhelming in how tempting everything was. Rather than being a bad thing, this just made us want to come back sooner. I’m glad we went, and hopefully next time I will remember to take pictures of the food to add to this review.
To anyone interested in specifics, I had the pretzels of holding (delicious, tasting fresh and homemade) and the Animal Farm (chicken, bacon, ranch) Mac and cheese. Somehow the chicken was still cripsy. The drinks were great too; don’t sleep on the seasonal menu. My friend had an excellent burger, so I’m planning on trying the sliders next time. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you have a chance to visit with friends!
Good folks, good vibes, good food.
