Here for an early dinner, so the restaurant is basically empty. The service was fast and friendly, with a nice atmosphere. Two large TVs at the bar make for good viewing of a game. The fried catfish is piping hot and tasty, same with the shrimp. Generous portions at a decent price. Olay negative is a really small selection of beer, 6 taps and about 8 domestic and imported bottles to pick from, no local beer. Pretty decent place for dinner though.

The service was sub par, the ambiance was interesting with the indoor string lights and turquoise painted wood floors. The food was not enjoyable, and overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone who enjoys seafood, I will never be back to give it a second try.

Pretty good. Shrimp n oyster poboy, although not French bread, was one of the better ones I have had around here. Only thing I didnt like was the way they completely saturated the crawfish with some sort of garlic butter sauce. Was cooked perfect but that stuff ruined it for me. Cook it right and you should put nothing on the outside…in my opinion..

The cerviche is well prepared with plenty of avocado. Fried catfish was a bit out of the ordinary with a little more Cajun? Spice. Salmon and squash were grilled and very moist.

We had a surprise birthday party for my grandmother (Mabird) for her 85th birthday. The staff at Johnny Krackers were awesome! The food was hot and fresh, and each order was correct. That’s difficult for a party of 20+ people! They allowed us to come in and decorate their back room for the party, and gave us plenty of extra plates and silver ware to use for the birthday cakes. The food is especially tasty. I had the 4 shrimp and 1 catfish combo. The catfish filets are huge and have a light breading, which gives it better flavor. They changed their hush puppy recipe, and made it better. They have a small amount of jalapeños in it which gives it some heat, but not hot at all. Maybe make a regular version without them would help for those who really don’t like jalapeños. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the party, and Mabird loved the catfish, to which she is an expert. If my Mabird likes it, then you know it’s good. We will definitely be back both for big family events and regular lunch and dinner. Please support this place!

Food was pretty good, but waitress was not good at all. My husband asked for Thousand Island dressing, and she acted like she had never heard of it. Then, it came out with Ranch dressing with no explanation at all. Salads didn’t come out until about 3 minutes before the meal did. We ordered catfish and shrimp, and it was only served with ketsup and tartar sauce. We had to ask for cocktail sauce for the shrimp. When we asked for butter for the hush puppies, she brought us melted butter. The breading on the catfish was separated from the fish, so it was a little hard to eat. The restaurant was very cute and clean though. Service really needs to improve. Also, we were the only customers in there, yet there were about 4 other cars parked right in front, so those must have been the workers cars.

The Wife and I have been going to Johnny’s since they opened, have never been disappointed. We have never had bad service and the food is always fresh and HOT !!!!
Just went this past Wednesday night 8-25-2021 for all you can eat cat fish and once again it was absolutely delicious and the young lady serving us was awesome ! She let us choice the type of music they were playing and checked on us throughout without ever making us feel like we were bothering her. Kudos to her
