Waste of money Do NOT go here!
Idk how it has four stars and so many reviews. My supreme burrito was mostly rice! The salsa taste too much like oregano the little bit of asada there was, was not tender enough and had no flavor other than salt. A lot of fat and grisel. Paid for asada supreme end up being mostly rice burrito, zero stars if I could. 0/10 would not recommend. Will not be returning to any El Grullense.

Good flavors, nice staff and clean facility.
I have been to several of this small chain including Redwood City, Merced and a few in Stockton. Each is unique but with the same delicious roasted pepper flavors.

Complete agreement with the one star review. I thought it’d be better cus I’ve liked other grullense in town. But this was just horrible. Everyone was dissatisfied, food was super bland. And our whole party agreed that the rice had gone bad. Have no idea why they stay in business here. Some of the worst I’ve ever had in stockton.

Poor quality food, ordered nachos that were ok… had to beg for scraps of cilantro, and salsa. No limes.
Ordered cheese enchiladas that were dry and uncooked/ steamed. Not saucy and altogether NOT edible, sadly disgarded them and felt like i had wasted a good amount of money on sad food.
I would not think of returning

A friend of mine brought me here and I’ll never forget how amazing thier food is. Some of the best in Stockton. I’ll eat this and bring anyone there until the day I die. Beer is kinda expensive but the customer service is genuine and better then expected.

We’re here quite a few times and it’s decent but I went in this morning and the lady was super rude already to begin with. I honestly felt like she was being racist towards me. I paid seven dollars for a breakfast Burrito and I asked for salsa and they give me a tiny little container of salsa and I asked for another one and she says it’s $.50. Whenever I order burritos from any taco truck or any place at all they never charge me for salsa when I pay for a Burrito. And I honestly wouldn’t of been so mad if she would’ve said it nicer been nicer but she wasn’t. And if the containers of salsa would’ve been a little bigger. The salsa they gave meme it will literally go on a 10th of my burrito.

It’s a well known place that has been around for a long time, they have a good variety to choose from with the right drinks to wash it down. I have never had a bad experience here, and the service is good.
