Was told to check out this place from a buddy who lives in Portland. The servers were outstanding — friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to recommend food and drink items to try. We were seated at the bar, which was bright, airy and pretty.

Portions could be a little bigger, especially the tortilla chips. But this is a great place to hang out with friends.

One of the best brunch spots in Portland Maine. And they do dinner!
From the gorgeous velvet booth seating, to the crispy potatoes and churros, the service, food and ambiance is outstanding. Our lovely server Coco and the FOH manager Leah create such a warm and welcoming experience.
Highlights are the horchata (get it half & half with cold brew for caffeine.) The churros are outstanding, potatoes are a must and you can’t go wrong with any of the main dishes.
Enjoy and don’t forget…tip your servers and bartenders

The food here was fantastic! Awesome brunch items. Really liked the warm vibe on the inside too. We shared a stack of pancakes for the table, highly recommend doing this. It came with pineapple syrup which was out of this world. Great brunch spot.

ad a great brunch at Ocotillo. The food was excellent and perfectly prepared. The pulled pork was tender, moist, and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t realize they were a sister restaurant to Terlingua, but it makes sense — the food there is incredible too.
Definitely recommend. This place should be a staple for going out in Portland.

The food was absolutely delicious, but what truly made my visit special was the exceptional hospitality.

A huge shoutout to Izzi, the bartender — she was amazing! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what she does. She was incredibly careful with my dairy and gluten allergies, double-checking everything and making sure I felt safe and taken care of the entire time. Her attention to detail made a big difference.

Overall, everything from the service to the flavors exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone looking for a great brunch!

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at Ocotillo. We worked closely with the amazing manager, Lea, and head chef extraordinaire Al. Al and their team are incredibly talented in the kitchen. The meal was hands down the best food I have ever eaten. Everyone raved about the food, drinks and service all night. The waitstaff was kind and helpful. The drinks were stellar, the atmosphere was perfect. Thank you so much to the whole staff at Ocotillo for helping us create an amazing night we will never forget. I could not recommend Ocotillo enough.

One of the most delicious breakfasts I’ve have out in Portland. It’s a super cute space and nestled in the West End area so it’s not too busy, but still not far from all of the action. I would definitely recommend getting reservations but we lucked out and were seated quickly. The drinks were very tasty, especially the fruity ones. The food was incredible and excellent portions. We shared 2 plates between the three of us and we’re very satisfied. I have been thinking about this breakfast all week.

Had an incredible dinner here while on vacation. The homemade salsa is a must and I loved the wings too. Got a handful of cocktails and none of them disappointed. The food was clean, and bright, and so so so so tasty. I loved the decor it was funky but clean and the staff were really nice and loved to chat about the food. Will be returning.

Cute new Mexican/smoked meat dishes in a terracotta desert themed haven. The enchiladas were fireeee. I think all of their BBQ meats could be juicier, which is me being very particular about my meats, but overall the meal was delicious and a really great brunch spot. I prefer this place better over their sister restaurant (Terlingua)!
