We checked out this new place a couple of weeks ago. We tried the pretzels with house-made beer cheese and the fried mozzarella which is house-made as well. Both were delicious! I got a battered fish fry with fries, my husband got the fish sandwich and a side of mac and cheese. My daughter got a smash burger with no bun (due to gluten sensitivity) and my brother-in-law got the chicken fingers with mac and cheese. Everything was excellent! I LOVE a good mac and cheese so I was happy when it exceeded my expectations. The fries reminded me of Five Guys but crispier which was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed the leftovers the next day as well!
I love sour beers. Although there were none on tap (I prefer draft over can/bottle), they did have a couple of local sours in a can and they were very good!
Service was excellent as well. The prices were a tad higher than expected for the area, however, we don’t mind paying for good service and great food! I highly recommend and we will be back.

The place is comfy with a black and barn wood interior. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They just opened and a great menu. The food was fantastic. Started out with the Wayne’s World appetizer. Picked jalapeño poppers, hand breaded chicken fingers and hand breaded mozzarella.(sorry about the photo. I was hungry) they were great. The hand breading on the chicken and mozzarella were excellent! Highly recommend them. I had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich with the sauce on the side. The pork was smoked to perfection. It was Smokey and moist but not over done or dry. The hand cut French fried were good as well. The tater tots… cooked and salted perfectly. Also tried the Mac and cheese and Mac salad. BOTH were awesome. The mac and cheese was smooth and smokey. The mac salad was traditional with red onion and I loved them both. I grabbed a pizza to go. I highly recommend Smoke N Griddle. It will be a destination location.

I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this newly opened restaurant and bar in Lyons. My friend and I both ordered the fish and chips, and they did not disappoint. The fish was cut into smaller pieces, perfectly battered and fried to a crisp golden brown—absolutely delicious. I had mine with tater tots while my friend chose fries, and we both agreed they were outstanding.
The restaurant has recently reopened after a complete remodel, and the results are stunning. The walls are lined with beautifully restored 150-year-old barn wood, giving the space a warm, rustic charm. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming.
This spot is a wonderful addition to what feels like the exciting revival of downtown Lyons. Highly recommend stopping in!

I called ahead to make sure it was kid friendly.. hour for my kid to get French fries and mozzarella sticks.. got there at 5:30… Left at 7:00 without eating dinner. They’re still charged for appetizers and drinks. $52…. No fish in the fish fry. No steaks or anything as advertised.. figured I’d give Lyons a shot and check the place out thinking he would be a barbecue joint or some kind of red meat or smoked …smoked and grilled . nothing there was smoked lol.. It’s a straight bar with bar food and appetizer s… ..
The server was friendly. That was about the only good thing about the place…. Oh and The salad and the tater tots were good
So here we are getting trash plates when I wanted steaks for dinner. Lol.. .. And finally eating at 7:30 in the evening..
The crowd was all older 50-60 year old drunks…

What a little gem this place is! Super sweet service and great fish fry. The blackberry dresing on my salad was definitely one of a kind delicious! Plenty of food for sure and reasonably priced plus fast service. Very impressed and we will be back! Thanks to Jen!

Nice atmosphere. By far the best selection of craft beers both on tap and in cans – beer menu is 3 pages long ! Only con for me was that I went in for a fish fry and got sticker shock at $24 !
I had the wings w/ Nashville hot sauce – nice sized, full dozen, and decently priced ($17). Wife has a gluten intolerance and said the GF pizza (gf bread crust, not cauliflower, $20) was one of the best she’s had, just need to ask them to bake it a bit longer to crisp up the bottum. Service was good, server just needed to be a bit more attentive to an empty beer mug. Give this local place your support !

Prime rib dinner tonight was fantastic. The meat was cooked to perfection and I didn’t need to use the steak knife to cut it. Amazing. The wait staff is attentive, pleasant and downright friendly. I love this place. I never have had anything but great meals and great service here. Lyons is lucky to have this place.

Beautifully decorated. Love the 100 year old old-barn beams. The food was delicious! The chef makes his own mozzarella! We had fried mozzarella and chicken tenders and fries. All so delicious! Plus the chef makes his own soup each day. I had the chicken and rice soup which was so hardy, it tasted more like a stew. Go for the service, the atmosphere, and especially the food. You won’t be disappointed!

The interior is absolutely beautiful. The lighting is perfect accompanied by a nice aged wooden wall. It all comes together making a very cozy & rustic feeling. Both food and appetizers seemed a little on the pricey side at around ~$17 for most dishes & sides. Though it was 100% worth it, portions were plentiful and the food itself tasted so unbelievably great!! Staff was extremely friendly and definitely improved the overall experience.
