Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place to watch the Big 10 games they have many tvs to watch the Hawkeyes and Cyclones battle it out.
Nice patio area.
Love the Marion downtown area in general. The parking is difficult at times but this Saturday afternoon we found a spot quickly.
We liked the shuffleboard table. It is a little thinner than what we are used to but the length is good.

This bar is very roomy, there’s ample seating in 3 different areas, plus tv’s everywhere you look to keep you updated on your favorite team’s score. The pool table is nestled away for privacy which is nice. Relaxing atmosphere with a good selection of drinks. Prices for one pint of a popular US brand beer are more expensive than a pitcher at other places though. Very friendly staff that usually is quite attentive, as well.

Bartenders don’t know the difference between real and fake ID’s
Edit to response: I think it’s pretty clear what my post means, so I’m not sure what you’re so confused about. The server came over and rudely told me it was fake so I challenged her and she had her manager come over and scan it. After realizing she was in the wrong, I actually was served. I’m more concerned with how rude the server was, and if you have a scanner, why was that option not offered before immediately throwing my ID at me and telling me it’s fake? If my ID didn’t scan then sure, don’t serve me. Please train your staff better with reading ID’s if you are so concerned about fines, so they don’t need to “err on the side of caution.”

Great service, bar games, and a true bar atmosphere! I actually love the fact that they don’t serve any type of food so they can focus solely on serving drinks. It also helps support the other small businesses in the downtown area since they encourage folks to bring in food from the area to enjoy with your drinks while also playing billiards, darts, or shuffleboard. That’s the reason I put food at 1 star since they don’t serve food. If you’re having a night out there then I recommend getting Tomaso’s pizza to bring in and enjoy with your drinks.

This place is great. I’ll be honest, sports bars aren’t usually my ideal but the staff is so friendly and willing to try something new, I love it! We came in one night before going to a show at Giving Tree and I really wanted a French 75 (a champagne cocktail) but figured they wouldn’t be able to do one. The bartender was so fun and friendly and had me help him figure out the recipe and they were absolute perfection! Now, I’ll swear by this place! 🙂
